1. Tell me something about yourself.

Hi, my name is Hazel Pascual and Im a fresh graduate of Jose Rizal University. I
studied Human Resources Management because I really enjoy working with people
and Im fascinated with the role of people in building and operating companies. During
College, I am a Deans lister from 1st year to 4th year. I also had an OJT during my
fourth year at Jollibee Corp where I worked with their recruitment team and helped
coordinate the interview of candidates for cashier roles at Jollibee restaurants.
2. What can you offer as a fresh graduate?
The youth are energetic, more optimistic, more tech-savvy and creative. They will do
beyond ordinary means to get something done. These are qualities that make fresh
grads an important asset for the company. You cant easily get that from other
generations.
3. Why should we hire you?
I have the experience and the attitude to excel in this production assistant position. I
have almost two years of television production experience including two summers
interning at ABS CBN, where I was exposed to all aspects of TV production and worked
so hard the first summer that they invited me back for a second summer and gave me
more responsibilities.
4. Why do you want to work for this company?
"Based on the research I've done, this company is an industry leader. When I visited
your Web site, I found some impressive information about future projects you have
planned. I was also impressed with the founders' backgrounds and the current financial
statements. This is the company I've been looking for, a place where my background,
experience and skills can be put to use and make things happen."
5. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
My goal in five years is to have garnered enough experiences that I can take on a
managerial or supervisorial role within the company.
6. What are your greatest professional strengths?
I am highly adaptable to change. During my internship a new payroll system was
introduced, and other members of staff were unhappy about it. I taught myself the
system in my own personal time and was then able to train others how to use it.
7. What do you think is your greatest weakness?
"In the past I've struggled with time management, but recently took a course that has
resulted in significant improvement in this area. By using certain tools and technology, I
find that I'm able to manage my time well."
8. What are your salary expectations?
My salary expectations are in line with my experience and qualifications. Or If this is
the right job for me, I am sure we can come to an agreement on salary.
I think that new CPAs can earn between 15,000 and 25,000 per month in this area,
and I think a fair and competitive number for both of us could be found in that range.
