INTRODUCTION
Stocking activity of water purification process is claimed to ensure that the water is
free from all forms of bacteria. The journey of packed drinking water begins from
the source which is ground water. This sourced water is treated with ozone which
helps destroy all the bacteria and viruses within seconds. This report describes a
strategic approach to stocking aimed at maximizing the potential exercise.
activities, relatively few programmers have been properly evaluated and suggest
stocking exercises lead to any long term benefit. However, if the stocking activities
are designed and implemented to satisfy defined goals it should be possible to
improve the success rate.
Enhancement stocking is the principal method used to maintain or improve stocks
where production is actually carried out, but where reasons for the poor stocks can
not be identified.
Whenever, stocking of water is to be considered, the aims, and specific objectives of the
exercise must be clearly defined and adhered too.
When evaluating stocking as a possible; management tool, the relative benefits and cost
of all options should be considered i.e. machinery.
The strategy for any programme of stocking transfer to very carefully maximize the
chances of success.
The potential adverse impacts of stocking in term of environmental interactions should be
considered.
This stocking activity should include a mechanism and outcome to minimize the risk of
any unforeseen adverse effects in future exercises
A series of guidelines should be produced for packaged drinking water stocking, clearly
defining the most effective protocol for deciding whether stocking should takes place
how it should be implemented and the potential impacts of such activities.

may also be used as a source of raw water.
CHEMICALS-These are used in the treatment of water soluble salts precipitate over the
membranes of Reverse Osmosis (R.O) system and render them non-functional. Thus anti
sealants are used to keep the; membrane from fouling; Ozone gas is used for disinfection.
PREFORM-It is a small plastic test tube which expands into a bottle when hot air is
blown into it. The quality of the bottle depends upon the quality of the preform. These
bottles are for one time use i.e. they are not refilled. Bottles are generally made in capacities
of 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 L and 2L.
CAP-Caps are used for sealing the bottles after water is filled into them.
JAR-These are reusable 20ltr. plastic containers. The average life a jar is 40 rounds i.e.
they are refilled and used 40 times and then discarded for recycling.
JAR SEAL-Similar to the cap of a bottle, it is used to seal the 20ltr. Containers. Once the
seal is broken, it cannot be used again on a jar. Thus, every time a jar is refilled a new seal is
fitted on it.
LABELS-These are of two types, the bottle label are thin and circular which are slid into
the bottle from the top. The jar labels are stickers which are put somewhere on the body of
the jar.
MACHINERY
PREFORM BLOWING MACHINE- The preform in passed through a heat chamber
which; makes it soft. This soft preform is then picked and put into the; blowing g chambers
where hot air is blown into it and gives it the shape of a bottle.
WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM-This includes the sand and carbon filter and the
R.O system. Raw water is processed and finished water is stored in the stainless steel tank.
For every 5000ltr. Of water produced by the R.O system, 3500ltr. if waste water is generated.
This waste water is recharged back into the ground via soak pit.
AUTOMATIC FILLING MACHINE- This machine comprises of four different
sections-suction pumps, filling unit, cap feeder and the conveyor belt. Empty bottles from
the blowing machine are fed into a suction pump which pulls these bo9ttles and pushes them
into the filling unit. These empty bottles are washed and filled. The automatic cap feeder
unit feed cap0s to the filling machine which are then tightened to seal the bottles are queued
on the conveyor belt where labels are put and batch number is printed.

SUGGESTION
1) Advertisement to build the brand image that will provide the required ground to establish the
product.
2) Awareness programs at health club, schools and Nursing homes.
3) To win over the consumer belief and faith over the equity of the product.
4) Display of hot and cold dispensers and bottles at places like hotels, clubs and airports where
upper class group visits as they are the potential customers. Place like department stores,
petrol pumps and super bazaars can also be considered.
5) The company should organize camps at various part of the city also road show to bring about
the difference between mineral water and Kinley water and other purified water and to tell
the people how reliable fresh water is more hygienic than other filtered & purified water.
6) To aware people the cost benefit analysis to the customer of how the reliable fresh water
would cost less and benefit more because people using purifier system cost too much.
7) Rural population still does not aware and use packaged drinking water so it is subjected to
company to meet this requirements.
