Installation Notes
Un-compress Embertone_CrystalFlute.rar using your favorite archiving utility. If you dont have an UnRARing
application, do not fear!

Crystal Flute is an instrument weve been wanting to sample for a very long time. These handcrafted
instruments are made from Pyrex glass, with a design similar to a modern concert flute. The tone is also similar
to a concert flute, but the specific instrument we sampled is a bit deeper and wispier. We ventured into the
studio to record this instrument, sampled it with some special new techniques in order to achieve seamless
loops and a very intimate sound.

LEGATO = monophonic true legato

RR = borrowed round robin on/off
POLY = polyphonic sustain
STAGE = reverb on/off
SHORT = staccatos
ORNAMENT SWITCH = between major (whole step) and minor (half step)

CONFIGURATION PAGE
CC CHOOSER = select your desired CCs for Dynamics/Vibrato and Flutter Tongue
AIR NOISE = at 127, you will hear full air noise. At 0, youll hear only the tonal content
RESPONSIVENESS = the higher the value, the more responsive the legato will be, BUT at the expense of
realism!
ORN AND SLIDE THRESHOLDS = if you play a note at a velocity at or ABOVE the Orn knob, you will
trigger an ornament. If you play a note at a velocity at or BELOW the Slide knob (m2+M2 only), it will trigger
a special slide/emotional transition.
RELEASE/ATTACK SAMPLES = you have the option to turn off both the attack and the release samples.
Note that as you play with higher velocities, the attack sample becomes more noticeable.
SPEED RESPONSE = clicking this button will load all of the legato transitions into RAM, allowing for speed
responsiveness. This means that the faster you play, the quicker the transitions become.
KEYSWITCH AREA = customize any of the keyswitches to the desired location on your keyboard!

License Agreement
What You Can Do
You can use these sounds in your music, your arrangements, music productions, and live
performances without worrying about royalties or permissions at all! If you highlight our
instrument in your music and want to credit us, we wouldnt be against that.
What You Cannot Do
The Crystal Flute samples cannot be re-used in a competing product. Do not copy, distribute,
transfer, share, trade, or loan, our flute because its meant solely for you!
The right to use the Crystal Flute is granted to the original purchaser only. The license may be
transferred, but only through Embertone directly. The Crystal Flute will only work with Native
Instruments Kontakt 4.2.4+ FULL (NOT the Player) but is not designed/intended for any other
sampler. The sounds are licensed as is without warranties of any kind.
Once you download our Crystal Flute, we cannot accept refunds or returns. Our support is limited
to the samples themselves. All support with respect to Kontakt must be directed to Native
Instruments. This license agreement is effective from the moment the product is installed by any
means.
Watermarking
This product uses a watermark, in order to protect ourselves in the case of theft/misuse. Please
support us if you want more insanely sampled instruments like this one!
