Julio Verne was born in Nantes, France in 1828. In 1847, he studied Laws in
Paris. He wrote his first novel, Five Weeks in a Balloon, in 1863 and he
predicted the space travel in his novel From the Earth to the Moon in 1865. He
died in 1905.
People remember him -with Herbert Wells - as of the father of science-fiction.
