As shown in my resume, I have 2 years of experience working as a soccer referee for
young children. This has helped to develop my people skills and cooperation to a high
level, as I have had to control organized soccer games between children, deal with the
questions and concerns of parents, and work with fellow referees to reach common
goals. I have also participated in DECA competitions. I have competed at both a
regional and provincial level and have received awards for outstanding exam marks and
job interview role-playing. This has enhanced my communication skills and business
management and marketing knowledge. These skills will be necessary for the position
in question.
