Definition

Master data refers to the basic data used in SAP for the execution of different transactions such
as cost centers, distribution assessment rules.
Definition at MBIL
At MBIL to execute different activities for COPA following master data needs to be created.

2.3.1

Data Maintenance in Material Master


At the time of creation of material master data for CKD (Car) Finished Goods details of
class type information is required to be maintained. Car class type W211, W/V221,
W203 or W204 must be maintained in the basic view in External Material Number field.
For example while creating material master for W211 class type W211 is required to
maintain in external material number field.

2.3.2

Revenue and Sales Discount Cost Element


Revenue and Sales Discount GL account were created with cost element category 1. It
doesnt update the Revenue and Sales deduction value fields in PA structure. All these
types of GL/Cost Elements need to be created in the system with Cost Element
Category 11 (Revenue) and 12 (Sales Deduction).
