COMPANY PROFILE
Agro Allied Development Enterprises Limited is one of the oldest
companies in Nigerias agricultural/agro-allied sector. A major supplier
of frozen seafood, and agro allied products. Agro Allied Development
Enterprises Limited, was founded in 1987 by Mr Suresh Puri a
renowned Indian international businessman.
The company has an annual turnover of more than US$ 10.0 million.
The newly erected most modernize seafood cold storage plant is the key
feature of the company.
It is worth mentioning that the machinery for this storage facility was
designed to provide the best preserving system for aquatic products.
Our Departments
Agro-Allied consist of three departments naming, Frozen Section, Fish
Meal Section, and Agro-Allied Sections. The varieties of products which
are handled by different departments are as follows:

OUR FACILITIES
COLD ROOMS
We have high capacity cold rooms in Apapa and Ijora Areas of Lagos State. And in many locations
across Nigeria
Our state of the art Laboratory is yet another key feature where regular test carried out to
monitor high hygiene during the various stages of storage.
The company was approved by NAFDAC, which is the governing body for the seafood
industry, for Nigeria. The company follows the International recognized Hazard Analysis
Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards for their day to day sanitation needs.
The company is also undergoing for ISO 9002 certification.
WAREHOUSES
We maintain large bay warehouses with a range of cold storage facilities in many of our
office locations across Nigeria
LOGISTICS
We also maintain a fleet of mobile cold storage equipment that ensures we deliver products to our
customers in record time and in good condition.
Bacteriological Analysis of water and ice is done every week. Swab testing, area
monitoring and finger dabs tests are also done randomly to check and maintain the
hygienic conditions of facilities and personals.

SANITATION STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES
The following SSOP addresses the Sanitation Concern for Agro-Allied
Development Enterprises Facilities.
COLD ROOMS
The entire facility is designed in such a manner that each is maintained
in good hygienic condition. The enclosures have a good flooring, water
lock & sewage system, washable walls up-to 2 meters, Rodent proof
doors, prison deposit for rodents, Direct product flow, no cross roads,
separation of clean & unclean areas, Insect proof window and
Insecticide paint. Smoking, eating, spitting and drinking is not allowed
in the stores. The building housing the cold storage facilities are also
equipped with offices, adequate clean water supply, adequate lightning,
and changing rooms with wash basin & flush lavatories.
EQUIPMENT
The Quality Control Officer will evaluate the condition of plant
equipment monthly & results are recorded on the monthly record file.
PRODUCT RECEIVING AREA
Floor, walls, window, roof, fan, lights should be cleaned & sanitized
daily.
HANDLING AREA
All the equipment, floor, walls, windows, fans, lights, scales, packing
tables, shovels, roof regularly cleaned, washed & sanitized after each
production.
