aos produtores rurais um equipamento
que proporcione timo rendimento e
qualidade na colheita de algodo.
Para obter o melhor desempenho
de todos os seus componentes e
evitar ao mximo perdas na lavoura
de fundamental importncia o
conhecimento de todo contedo deste
manual de operao e colocar em
prtica suas recomendaes.
A MONTANA atravs de sua rede

de distribuio, concede ao primeiro
proprietrio o direito a entrega
tcnica do equipamento, onde sero
explanados e verificados os seguintes
itens:
- Montagem
- Operao
- Manuteno
- Garantia
O manual parte integrante da

mquina e deve ser guardado em local
seguro e prontamente disponvel para
ser consultado. A negligncia em ter
conhecimento deste poder acarretar
desde baixa eficincia, leso pessoal
at a perda de garantia.

1.2 - Responsabilidades do
Proprietrio
Fazer cumprir e trabalhar de acordo
com as recomendaes contidas
neste manual de instrues. Manter
o equipamento assim como todos
os manuais de instruo em perfeito
estado de conservao.
Para obter o mximo desempenho
deste equipamento, necessrio que
as partes envolvidas executem bem
suas tarefas e sigam as orientaes
contidas neste manual de instrues:
1- Certifique-se de que todos
os operadores tenham lido este
manual de operao e que tenham
entendido por completo todos os
seus itens, para assegurar uma
operao com desempenho mximo
e seguro. Pessoas no informadas
sobre funcionamento e manuteno
da colheitadeira devem manter-se
afastadas quando a mquina estiver em
operao.

2.0 - GARANTIA
2.1 - Prazo de Garantia
2.3 - Itens Excludos da Garantia
01 (um) ano ou 1.000 horas,

prevalecendo o que vencer primeiro,
contados da data registrada na nota
fiscal de venda da mquina.
Todas as despesas relativas a

leos lubrificantes, filtros, graxas e
similares, deslocamento de pessoal,
reboque, transporte, socorro, danos
materiais e/ou pessoais causados ao
comprador ou terceiros, mobilizao
da mquina, manuteno normal
(reapertos, limpezas, lavagem,
lubrificao, regulagens etc.) sero
de responsabilidade exclusiva do
comprador.

Excluem-se ainda, elementos
filtrantes do sistema de transmisso,
bateria, motor de arranque, pneus
e cmaras de ar, componentes
eltricos, bicos injetores do motor
diesel que so sujeitos s condies
de garantia proporcionadas por seus
fabricantes.
2.2 - Aplicao da Garantia

As peas substitudas nesse regime
sero de propriedade da MONTANA.

2.0 - GARANTIA
2.4 - Perda da Garantia

Cessaro os efeitos da garantia,
quando forem constatadas quaisquer
das seguintes causas:
- Alterao do equipamento ou de
qualquer caracterstica do projeto
original;
- Mau uso do equipamento contrariando

as instrues tcnicas do manual;
- Alterao, destruio ou perda da

plaqueta de identificao do produto;
- Abusos, sobrecargas ou acidentes,

consertos ou desmontagem dos
componentes, por pessoas no
autorizadas;
- Preenchimento incorreto ou
incompleto da requisio de garantia.
- Contaminao dos circuitos

hidrulicos por impurezas ou fluidos e
filtros no recomendados;
- Operao ou manejo por pessoas
inabilitadas, negligncia na
manuteno, modificaes introduzidas
que afetem o funcionamento,
estabilidade e segurana da mquina.
- Uso de peas e componentes no
fornecidos pela MONTANA;

Todas as revises no perodo
de garantia, troca de filtros
e leos devem ser feitos
pelo servio autorizado
Montana e obrigatoriamente
com filtros e leos originais
Montana. Verifique as tabelas
de manuteno nas ltimas

2.0 - GARANTIA
2.5 - Generalidades
A garantia das peas e dos
componentes substitudos extinguese com o prazo de garantia do
equipamento.
facultado a MONTANA revisar,
modificar ou aperfeioar, descontinuar
ou alterar a mquina e seus
componentes, a qualquer tempo, bem
como as condies aqui inseridas, sem
incorrer em qualquer responsabilidade
ou obrigao para com o comprador ou
terceiro.
IMPORTANTE
No sero ressarcidos servios
realizados por empresas no
autorizadas.
Toda assistncia necessria dentro do

prazo de garantia deve ser realizada
pelo servio tcnico Montana, atravs
de nossas autorizadas ou tcnicos da
prpria fbrica.
A responsabilidade da MONTANA
restrita aos termos da presente
garantia, que intransfervel, cessando
automaticamente quando a mquina for
cedida ou revendida.
Atrasos eventuais na execuo dos
servios no conferem direito ao
proprietrio indenizao e nem a
extenso do prazo de garantia;

3.0 - LIMPEZA E ARMAZENAMENTO DO EQUIPAMENTO

3.1 - Limpeza e armazenamento
da Colheitadeira
3.2 - Recomendaes Gerais
No final da operao de colheita,

remova toda fibra e entulho das
seguintes reas (unidade de
colheita,unidade pr limpeza, rea do
motor, chassis e cesto), esta prtica
alm de diminuir risco de incndio
aumenta a vida til do equipamento.
Observe sempre os seguintes pontos:
Lave a mquina externamente com

gua limpa e guarde em local coberto
e arejado, longe de produtos qumicos
que possam oxidar a mquina
(fertilizantes, defensivos, entre outros)
e deixe repousar em local arejado e
protegido das intempries do tempo.
- Aperto de parafusos, porcas e

abraadeiras logo aps as primeiras
horas de uso;
- Proceda a limpeza completa da
mquina ao trmino de cada jornada;
- Faa a troca de graxas, leos e filtros
nos perodos recomendados;
- Controle a presso dos pneus e o
aperto dos parafusos de roda;
- Faa periodicamente a aferio dos
rolamentos, mangueiras hidrulicas,
correntes e correias;
- No perodo de entressafra aloje a
colheitadeira em lugar seguro, protegido
das intempries e longe de fertilizantes
ou de produtos volteis corrosivos;

rios, lagos ou fontes de gua

4.1 - Instrues de Segurana
4.2 - Palavras e Smbolos de

Segurana
Nunca leia qualquer instruo

de segurana sem dar a devida
importncia para a mensagem que est
expressa na mesma. Acidentes podem
ser evitados tomando-se cuidados
simples na hora da operao. Os
fabricantes de equipamentos procuram
proteger os pontos que possam
provocar acidentes, porm nem todos
so cobertos porque prejudicariam a
eficincia do equipamento.

H palavras que identificam alto risco,

nas instrues de segurana, no
manual de operao e nas etiquetas
coladas na mquina:
ATENO
Esta palavra indica uma situao de
perigo potencial. Se as instrues ou
procedimentos no forem efetuados
corretamente podem provocar
ferimentos pessoais graves ou a morte.
PERIGO
Esta palavra indica uma situao
perigosa que, se no for evitada
pode causar a morte ou acidentes
extremamente graves.

perigo potencial que, se no for evitada,
pode provocar ferimentos menos
graves ou leves.
CUIDADO

As cores tambm ajudam a indicar a

severidade da situao:

4.0 - SEGURANA
4.3 - Aes com Incndio
4.3.1 - Como agir para previnir
Para diminuir a possibilidade de
incndio , certifique-se dos seguintes
procedimentos importantes:

compartimento do motor e facilmente
entrar em combusto.
1- Plataforma de Colheita e Unidade

Pr-limpeza: Antes de qualquer
atividade, limpe e faa todas as
regulagens necessrias nestes intens.
Pedras, madeiras ou detritos podem se
alojar e causar fagulhas.
4- Inspeo: Diariamente verifique

se h sinais de superaquecimento
ou afrouxamento excessivo dos
rolamentos, correias e correntes.
2- Vazamentos: Fique atento a qualquer

vazamento de leo/combustvel,
elimine-o antes que a fibra de algodo
ou resduos se misturem, pois so
altamente inflamveis.
5- Limpeza: Antes de ligar a mquina

remova e limpe toda fibra e entulhos
das seguintes reas da mquina:
- Plataforma de Colheita e Unidade
Pr-limpeza, rea do motor, Chassis,
Caixas de reservatrios hidrulicos,
Radiadores e Cesto.
3- Descarregamento do Cesto: Tenha

cuidado no descarregamento do
algodo. Sempre faa-o longe de linhas
eltricas. Redobre a ateno quando
houver ventanias, pois os

4.3.2 - Como agir em caso de

incndio
Determine a extenso e a intensidade
do incndio antes de tentar apag-lo.
Sempre utilize os extintores, nunca
tente abafar ou usar outro tipo de
material.
1- Procure manter o controle
em qualquer sinal de fumaa ou
rudo anormal. Pare a mquina
imediatamente e desligue o ventilador,
a plataforma de colheita e a unidade
pr-limpeza.
2- Levante rapidamente a unidade de
colheita e guie a mquina para uma
rea o mais longe possvel da rea
com algodo sem colher e os mdulos
de algodo compactados e outros
equipamentos.
3- Verifique a direo do vento e
acione o boto de emergncia. Este
ir desligar a colheita, descarregar o
algodo, sem erguer o cesto.

4- Esteja familiarizado com as

localizaes dos extintores e siga as
instrues da etiqueta do extintor antes
de oper-lo. Sempre pulverize soluo
extintora na base do fogo. Conferir
parte Extintores
5- Verifique o algodo descarregado
no campo quanto a fogo ou sinais de
fumaa ou pontos quentes. No abafe
o fogo! Utilize somente extintores
apropriados para isso.
6- Avise aos outros sobre o incndio
e verifique todos os componentes da
mquina novamente para ter certeza se
o fogo est completamente apagado.
7- Tenha sempre em mos o nmero
do servio mdico e do corpo de
bombeiros mais prximo.
CUIDADO
O maior patrimnio sua vida
e sua sade, por isso evite
possveis danos ou morte
devido a incndio ou fumaa
da mquina ou do material em
chamas.

4.4 - Extintores
4.4.2 - Localizao dos Extintores
Os extintores so de fundamental
importncia para mquinas em geral,
pois evitam muitos perigos e at salvam
vidas, para isso o operador deve saber
utilizar e diferenciar os modelos e
funes de cada tipo.
Dois dos trs extintores esto

localizados na plataforma da cabine.
Um ao lado direito e outro no lado
esquerdo.
Leia as etiquetas do extintor de

incndio para saber como utiliz-los,
manutenes e data da validade.

4.4.1 - Modelo
ATENO
A mquina tem trs extintores do tipo

qumico AB, para incndio de graxa,
leo, eltrico.
Extintor
Ambos os modelos de
extintores devem ser
inspecionados pelo menos a
cada 200 horas ou uma vez por
ms.

O terceiro extintor est localizado na

parte traseira da mquina.

4.5 - Operando a Colheitadeira

com Segurana
1- Esteja familiarizado com todos
os componentes da mquina, tenha
domnio de suas funes para efetuar
as operaes com segurana.
2- Tenha certeza que toda manuteno
foi feita. (verifique as tabelas de
Regulagens e Manutenes).

3- Certifique-se que todas as

regulagens da plataforma de colheita
e unidade de pr-limpeza (HL) estejam
ajustadas para as condies da
lavoura.
4- Certifique-se que os extintores de
incndio esto localizados corretamente
na mquina, adequadamente
carregados e se o operador est
capacitado para utiliz-los.

Antes de operar a Colheitadeira
no campo, verifique se a
mquina est preparada
adequadamente e procurar
fazer um reconhecimento
da rea evitando choques
contra postes, rvores, etc. ou
acidentes mais graves devido
a depresses abruptas no
terreno.

5- Certifique-se que todas as

precaues foram tomadas para
evitar incndios e se o operador est
adequadamente treinado sobre o que
fazer em caso de incndio.
6- Afaste-se das linhas de acionamento
giratrias: O emaranhamento da linha
de acionamento giratrio pode causar
leso grave e at mesmo a morte.
Utilize roupa justa. Pare o motor e
assegure-se de que os componentes
mveis tenham parado totalmente antes
de fazer quaisquer regulagens ou
manuteno.
7- Use apoios para as mos e degraus:
Ao subir e descer da mquina, sempre
mantenha um contato de no mnimo
trs pontos com os degraus e com
os corrimos e fique de frente para a
mquina. Desdobre e use os corrimos
sempre que subir no topo do cesto.
8- Nunca pule na mquina ou para fora

com ela em movimento.
9- Redobre o cuidado com as condies
escorregadias, nos degraus e nos
corrimes ao sair da mquina.
10- Permita que somente o operador
ou no mximo um ajudante fiquem na
mquina. Os passageiros esto sujeitos
a leses, como serem atingidos por
objetos estranhos ou serem lanados
para fora da colheitadeira, alem de
obstrurem a viso do operador
11- Manuseie o combustvel com
cuidado: Ele altamente inflamvel.
No reabastea a mquina com
pessoas prximas fumando, prximo a
chamas vivas ou fascas. Sempre pare
o motor antes de reabastecer e procure
fazer isso sempre ao ar livre.

12- Cuidado com fluidos de alta

presso: O fluido sob presso, em
contato com a pele pode penetrar
e causar grave leso. Evite este
risco aliviando a presso antes de
desconectar uma conexo hidrulica.
Confira o aperto de todas as ligaes
antes de por o sistema novamente em
funcionamento.

As mangueiras hidrulicas
devem ser verificadas com
freqncia, pois esto sujeitas
a danos fsicos, rupturas,
idade e exposio.
Sempre substitua mangueiras
danificadas.
IMPORTANTE
Em caso de acidente, consulte
um mdico imediatamente.
Qualquer fluido injetado
na pele deve ser retirado
cirurgicamente dentro de
algumas horas ou poder
resultar em gangrena.

aplicados em pontos especficos da
mquina, prximos aos locais de
maior risco e estes devem ser lidos e
seguidos na sua totalidade.

orientam sobre a operao ou possveis

5.1 - Identificao da
Colheitadeira
A plaqueta de identificao da
colheitadeira traz impresso o modelo e
o nmero de srie da mquina.
Estas informaes so imprescindveis
quando se fizer necessrio a solicitao
de peas em garantia e de reposio,
agilizando o atendimento e evitando
quaisquer constrangimentos para o
cliente e para a fbrica.
N de srie
Modelo
Como identificar o ano e ms de

fabricao de sua colheitadeira. Os dois
primeiros nmeros indicam o ano de
fabricao do equipamento.
Exemplos:
10-ano de fabricao 2010
11-ano de fabricao 2011 e assim
sucessivamente.
A letra seguinte aos dois primeiros
nmeros indica o ms de fabricao,
conforme segue abaixo:
A-janeiro, B-fevereiro, C-maro, D- abril,
E- maio, F-junho, G-julho, H- agosto,
I-setembro, J- outubro,K- novembro,
L-dezembro.
Exemplo:
Uma mquina com nmero de srie
iniciando em 11B, trata-se de uma
mquina fabricada em fevereiro de
2011.

6.1 - Motor Diesel e Radiador
Assim como o restante da mquina
o motor diesel e o radiador merecem
ateno especial.
Confira diariamente antes de iniciar a
jornada de trabalho o nvel de leo do
motor e o nvel do lquido refrigerante.
Efetue o enchimento do tanque diesel

(capacidade aproximada de 680 litros)
ao final de cada jornada de trabalho,
para evitar a formao de condensao
no interior do tanque.
Antes de funcionar o motor diesel
verifique:
- nvel de gua
- nvel de combustvel

A caixa de trocadores de calor est
localizada do lado direito da mquina.
Para maior facilidade de limpeza, os
radiadores esto sobre uma base
articulvel possibilitando acesso aos

visualiza-se os radiadores hidrulicos
do sistema industrial, abaixo o radiador

embaixo do banco do operador e tem
a funo de fazer toda a comunicao

A coluna de direo possui regulagem

de posio, podendo aproximar ou
distanciar de acordo com o melhor
conforto para o operador. Para esta

A manuteno fator bsico e
imprescindvel, sendo responsvel para
proporcionar a mais longa vida til ao
seu equipamento.
A lubrificao sem dvida uma das
maiores parcelas da manuteno e
deve ser ministrada cuidadosamente,
pois, quando executada de maneira
inadequada, altamente prejudicial.

A mquina apresenta diversos pontos
(identificados pelos seguintes adesivos)
que necessitam de engraxamento.
A cada 10 horas todos os pontos de
graxeiras devem ser lubrificados.

quantidade correta e com lubrificantes
recomendados pelo fabricante.
Leve em considerao o estado geral
da mquina, onde a limpeza dos
componentes essencial para vida
longa e perfeito funcionamento dos

7.2 - Regulagem da Direo
A regulagem da convergncia
muito importante para evitar desgaste
prematuro nos pneus e para o controle
da mquina no momento da operao.
Para isto ser necessria a regulagem
correta da convergncia nos rodados
traseiros da mquina, devendo ficar a
medida entre os centros dos pivs da
direo de 2.023 mm .
Para regular e tambm conferir a
convergncia proceda da seguinte
forma:
- Alinhe os rodados traseiros
- Para regular a convergncia, solte
as porcas de fixao (detalhe A e B) e

Importante:
Antes de funcionar o motor diesel
verifique:
- nvel de gua
- nvel de combustvel
- nvel de lubrificante
Nunca abastea a colheitadeira
(sistema diesel) com o motor acionado.
IMPORTANTE
O nvel de leo no deve
ultrapassar o limite mximo
para no obstruir o filtro de
ar. Caso esteja abaixo do
limite mnimo complete-o
antes de trabalhar com a
mquina.
No acelere excessivamente
nos primeiros 30 segundos de
funcionamento.
No desligue o motor turbo em alta
rotao. Aguarde 30 segundos em
marcha lenta antes de deslig-lo.
Evite deixar o motor em marcha lenta
funcionando por muito tempo.
Verifique se a mistura gua e aditivo

est adequada.
Consulte o manual do motor CUMMINS
que acompanha a mquina, este possui
informaes detalhas do funcionamento
do motor.
O filtro de combustivel, localizado no
motor e o filtro separador de gua
prximo ao tnque de diesel.
Efetue o enchimento do tanque diesel
(capacidade aproximada de 680 litros)
ao final de cada jornada de trabalho,
para evitar a formao de condensao
no interior do tanque.
O respiro (aerao) feito atravs da
tampa do tanque de combustvel e se
caso for necessria a sua substituio
colocar uma tampa com as mesmas
caractersticas.

O filtro de ar responsvel pela
proteo de entrada de sujeira na
turbina e conseqentemente no motor.
Nunca obstrua a entrada do filtro, pois
assim prejudicaria o desempenho do
motor.

7.4.2 - Reservatrios de leo
Ao receber a mquina confira o nvel de

leo e observe os perodos de troca dos
seguintes itens:
A mquina apresenta dois reservatrios

de leo hidrulico que apresentam
capacidade de armazenagem distintas,
sendo o da transmisso e sistema de
colheita de capacidade total de 80 litros
e o do sistema industrial de 120 litros,
ambos possuem um filtro de ar na parte
superior.
7.4.1 - Motor Disel e Radiador

Assim como o restante da mquina
o motor diesel e o radiador merecem
ateno especial. Confira diariamente
antes de iniciar a jornada de trabalho
o nvel de leo do motor e o nvel do
lquido refrigerante.

O nvel de leo satisfatrio do
reservatrio deve estar acima
do nvel mnimo, abaixo disto
o leo dever ser completado

1 (one) year or 1000 hours, whichever

occurs first, counted from the date of
the sale invoice.
All expenses related to lubricant oils,

filters, greases, and similar items,
personnel travel, towing, transportation,
rescue, material and/or personal
damages caused to the buyer or any
third parties, mobilizing the machine,
regular maintenance (retightening,
cleaning, washing, lubrication,
adjustments, etc.) are the buyers
exclusive responsibility.

Also excluded from the warranty are
filter elements in the transmission
system, battery, starter motor, tires and
inner tubes, electrical components,
diesel engine injection nozzles which
are subject to their own manufacturers
warranty conditions.
2.2 - Application of Warranty

Any parts replaced under this regime
become the property of MONTANA.

The warranty effects shall become void

when any of the following causes are
defined:
- Misuse of the equipment, going
counter to the manuals technical
instructions;
- Abuses, overloads or accidents,
repairs or disassembly of components
by unauthorized personnel;
- Contamination of hydraulic circuits
by impurities or fluids other than the
recommended;
- Operation or handling by unqualified
personnel, negligence in maintenance,
modifications introduced that affect
the machines operation, stability and
safety.
- Use of parts and components other
than those supplied by MONTANA;

- Alteration, destruction, defacing or loss

3.1 - Cleaning and storage of the
Combine Harvester
3.2 - General Recomendations
At the end of the harvest run, remove

all fibers and foreign matter from the
following areas (harvest unit, engine
area, chassis and hamper). Doing this,
in addition to reducing fire hazards,
extends your equipments lifetime.
Always make sure the following points

are observed:
Wash the outside of the machine with

clean water and store in a dry, covered
and well-aired place, far from any
chemical substances that might oxidize
the machine (fertilizers, pesticides,
among others).

- Grease appropriately the harvest units

before beginning the harvest activity;
- Tighten bolts, nuts and clamps after the
first 10 hours of use;
- Clean the entire machine at the end of
each work day;
- Carry out greasing, and oil and filter
changes in the recommended frequency;
- Check tire pressure and wheel nuts
tightening;
- From time to time inspect bearings,
hydraulic hoses, chains and belts;
- In the period between harvests, store
your harvester in a safe place, protected
from the weather and far from fertilizers
and / or other volatile corrosive products.

4.3 - Actions with fire
4.3.1 - How to act preventatively
In order to reduce the possibility of a
fire, make sure the following important
procedures are complied with:
1- Harvest unit: Before any activity,
clean out and perform the necessary
adjustments in this item (as described in
the maintenance section).Rocks, pieces
of wood or other debris may become
lodged and cause sparks.
4- Inspection: Daily check for signs of

overheating or excessive loosening/play
on bearings, belts and chains.
5- Cleaning: Before switching on the
machine, remove and clean all fibers
and other foreign matter from the
following areas of the machine: Harvest
unit, Engine area, Chassis, Hydraulic
reservoir boxes, Radiators and Basket.
2- Leaks: Pay attention to any oil/fuel

leaks or spills and make sure they are
eliminated before the cotton fiber or
residues mix with them, as they are
highly flammable.
3- Discharging the basket: Be careful
when unloading the cotton. Always do it
at a safe distance from electricity lines.
Pay special attention on windy days,
as residues can easily be taken to the
engine compartment and there ignite
and burn.

4.3.2 - How to act in case of fire

Determine the extent and intensity of
the fire before attempting to extinguish
it. Always use the extinguishers, never
try to put it out or user other types of
material.
1- Try to remain calm and in control at
any sign of smoke or abnormal noise.
Stop the machine immediately and
switch off the fan and the harvesting
unit.
2- Quickly raise the harvest unit and
take it as far as possible from unharvested cotton areas, from compacted
cotton bales and other equipment,
making sure you take into account the
direction of the wind.
3- Check the wind direction and activate
the emergency button. This will turn
off the harvester and unload the cotton
without raising the basket.

4- Be familiar with the placement of fire

extinguishers and follow the instructions
on the label before operating
the extinguisher. Always aim the
extinguishing product at the base of the
fire. Read the section on Extinguishers.
5- Inspect the cotton unloaded in the
field for signs of fire, smoke or hotspots.
Do not dampen the fire! Use only the
appropriate extinguisher type for this.
6- Warn other people in the area about
the fire and check all the components of
the machine again to make sure the fire
has been totally put out.
7- Always have at hand the telephone
number for the closest fire department
and medical emergency service.

damages or death caused by
fire or smoke from the machine

Harvester in Safety
1- Familiarize yourself with all the
components in your machine and make
sure you know how to safely perform all
the operations.
2- Make sure all the necessary servicing
has been done.
3- Make sure all the adjustments have
been correctly performed on the harvest
platform and pre-cleaning unit (HL) in
line with the crop conditions.
ATTENTION
Before operating your harvester
in the field, make sure the
machine has been adequately
prepared and survey the area
checking for possible hazard
points such as posts, trees, etc.
or more severe accidents due
to sudden depressions on the
land.

4- Make sure the fire extinguishers are

correctly placed on the machine, are
suitably loaded and that the operator
has been qualified in using them.
5- Make sure all the fire prevention
precautions have been appropriately
taken and that the operator has been
adequately trained on what to do in
case of fire.
6- Keep away from rotating drive

parts: snagging a line on rotating drive
equipment can cause severe injury
or even death. Wear clothes without
trailing or loose ends. Stop the engine
and make sure all moving components
have come to a full stop before doing
any adjustments or maintenance.
7- Use handholds or handrails and the
steps: when climbing into or out of the
machine always maintain a three point
stance and face the machine. Unfold

hoses: If a jet of fluid under pressure
comes in direct contact with the skin,
it may penetrate the surface and
even cause severe injuries. Avoid this
hazard by bleeding the pressure before
disconnecting any hydraulic hoses.

Like the remainder of your machine,
the diesel engine and radiator deserve
special attention.
Every day, before starting the work day,
check the engine oil level and the level
of coolant.
Fill the fuel tank with diesel

(approximate capacity 680 liters) at
the end of each work day to prevent
moisture from condensing in the tank.
Before starting the diesel engine, check:
- level of the water
- level of the fuel
- level of the lubricant
In the first 30 seconds of operation, do
not accelerate excessively.
Do not shut down the turbo motor at
high revolutions. Wait for 30 seconds in
idle before shutting it off.

is made up of two components which
will be described later the harvest
platform and the pre-cleaning unit.
The platform is made up of several

items that perform the removal of the
cotton boll from the plant, these must
be adequately adjusted to ensure
maximum operating efficiency.
These components were developed

exclusively for harvesting cotton grown
using the densified planting system
(reduced spacing between rows and
more plants per area) resulting in
smaller plants than in conventional
farming systems.

The fan is actuated using a clutch

system from inside the operator cab.

The ducts are metallic and have three
parts.
The first duct begins at the outlet of

If you need to increase

strength of the spring according to the
weight the operator;
(with respect to the steering wheel)

Use the lever located in the front part
of the seat to move the seat forward or
backward as needed.
To increase the pressure:

- Turn the rod clockwise (+).

To decrease
- Turn the kneecap in counterclockwise
direction (-).
Sit on the seat and adjust the size of the

seat belt. Make sure it is not loose and
that the safety latch engages properly.
ATTENTION
Attention: For safety reasons,
never adjust the seat position
with the vehicle in movement.

7.1 - Importance of Maintenance
7.1.1 - Greasing
Maintenance is a basic and mandatory

factor responsible for providing a longer
life cycle for your equipment.
This machine has several points that

require greasing. At every 10 hours all
grease points must be lubricated.

Lubrication is without doubt one of the

major maintenance items and should be
carefully and strictly managed, because
when done inadequately, it is extremely
harmful.
Adequate lubrication is the one done at
the right time, in the correct amount and
with the lubricants recommended by the
manufacturer.
Take into account the overall condition
of the machine, component cleanliness
is essential for their long life cycle and
perfect operation.

In any maintenance activity,
always wear the appropriate
PPE.

7.2 - Adjustment of wheel
convergence
Convergence adjustment is very
important to avoid early tire wear
and for controlling the machine when
operating it.
To this end, the correct adjustment of
convergence of the machines rear
wheels is paramount. The distance
between the centers of the steering
pivots must be 2.023 mm.
To adjust and check for correct
convergence proceed as follows:
- Align the rear wheels
- To adjust convergence, release the
fixation nuts (detail A and B) and adjust
the steering articulation rods until the
recommended measure is achieved.

IMPORTANT
Before operating the diesel engine
check:
- Water level
- Fuel level
- Oil level
Never refuel the combine system
(diesel) with the engine fires.
Do not accelerate too the first 30
seconds of operation.
IMPORTANT

- level of the water
- level of the fuel
- level of the lubricant

Do not turn off the turbo engine at high

rotation. Wait 30 seconds idle before
shutting it.
Avoid leaving the engine idling running
for a long time.
Make sure the mixture is adequate

The air filter is responsible for
preventing the entrance of foreign
matter into the turbo and from there into
the engine.

matter into the engine. This check
is part of the periodic maintenance
procedure.

7.4 - Oil Levels
7.4.2 - Reservatrios de leo
On receiving your machine, check the

oil level in some of the items and note
the change frequency data.
Your machine has two hydraulic oil

tanks with different capacities one for
the transmission and harvest systems
with total capacity for 80 liters and the
other one for the industrial system
with capacity for 120 liters. Both are
equipped with air filters on the top
cover.
7.4.1 - Diesel Engine and Radiator

Similar to the remainder of the machine,
the diesel engine and the radiator
deserve special attention. Every day,
before beginning the work day, check
the level of the engine oil and of the
coolant.
IMPORTANT
The oil level must not exceed
the maximum limit or else it will
obstruct the air filter. If the level
is below the minimum level,
add oil before operating the
machine.

7.5 - Care of the Hydraulic
System
7.6 - Adjustments of the Harvest

Platform
The hydraulic system is very sensitive

to contamination and therefore must
be kept free of contact with water, solid
particles and contamination from the
air. To this end, special care must be
taken when performing maintenance
or service activities on the hydraulic
system, as well as when changing the
oil or topping up the oil tank.
All components requiring adjustments

are easy to operate, having the oblongs
for all adjustment configurations.
To improve the durability of the hydraulic

system, follow the maintenance
recommendations, performing oil and
filter changes with the recommended
frequency. Even if taking the due care,
perform all recommended oil filtrations
including in oil changes.
IMPORTANT
Pay attention to the warning
alarms on the Control Panel as
these monitor all the systems in
your machine.

parts.

always have a minimum spacing of 12
mm between combs, 5 mm from the
