Board Statement Changes at Inclusion North

We are sad to say that Sam Clark is leaving Inclusion
North. Sam has been the Chief Executive of Inclusion
North since 2006 and we are sad she will be leaving.
Sam is going to be the Chief Executive of the Local Area
Coordination network. She is not leaving until October so
we have time to work together on a good handover and
Sam is helping us recruit a new Chief Executive.
Sam has been an important person in Inclusion North and
has helped us to be so successful over the last 11 years.
We are confident her work means the staff team and
organisation are strong to carry on.

As a Board of Directors we are working with the Advisory

Council to recruit a new Chief Executive the advert goes
out next week and we hope you will help tell people about
the job.
We have got some help ourselves as a Board to do that
recruitment and support us all through the handover and
the new person starting. That is Chris Taylor. Chris has
been a friend of Inclusion North for many years and has
supported the staff group and the Board when they have
needed extra help. You can see what we are doing & how
we are working below. If you have any ideas or want to
talk about the changes you can contact Sam. What we
want to do
1.Make sure Inclusion North stays strong and carries on
doing good work
2. Make sure the Board of Directors and Advisory Council
are supported to lead the change
3. Make sure the staff team are well informed, and
supported so they know they are important to Inclusion
North and can carry on their jobs well
4. Stay true to Inclusion Norths values and the ways of
working people value
How we will work to do this
1. The Board have asked Chris Taylor to work with them
and Sam to plan for her leaving and getting a new Chief
Executive
2. Chris will help the Board and Advisory Council lead the
recruitment

3. Sam will work with the team to put in place what is

needed to make the change go well and help with any gap
before the new Chief Executive starts
If you want to find out more about these changes and our
plans you contact Sam on

Mencap, in partnership with National Autistic Society,
Scope and Sense,

The Pharmacy Project set out to achieve three broad

outcomes:

To speak to disabled people and their families and

carers, and professionals working in pharmacies, to
confirm what barriers, issues and concerns exist in
relation to the accessibility of pharmacy services.

To create, co-create, adapt and collate resources

that would support and guide the above groups to
create and maintain more accessible pharmacy
services.
To work with pharmacy bodies such as the National
Pharmacy Association (NPA), the Royal Pharmacy
Society (RPS), the Centre for Pharmacy
