Introduction
ThisWebQuestwasdevelopedaspartofanassignmentintheTechnologyApplication
forTeachersCourseEDUC6100.

Insmallgroups,thestudentswilldevelopaplanforaroadtripthatwilltakethemto
variousimportantlandmarksoftheirchoosing.Theywillmakeatripplan,andshareit
withtherestoftheclass.Anaddontaskistheywilldevelopagroupbudgettobeable
totakethistrip.

Learners
Thislessonisanchoredinfifthgradegeographyandinvolvessocialstudies,historyand
mathtoalesserextent."Thelessonallowsforseveralvariationstofitabroadarrayof
gradelevels.Additionalrequirementscanbeaddedtomakeitamorechallenging
lessonplanifcriticalthinkingskillsaremorecloselytargeted.
