On Wednesday, HabibMetro shifted back into Net borrowing position from Net

lending position & close interbank activity book at a Net borrowing position of PKR
0.78 (B).

Borrowing surged by PKR 6.50 (B) on the back of 05 overnight Repo transaction
worth @ 5.88 % whereas no maturity witnessed. Total Borrowing stands at PKR
14.60 (B) @ 5.85% .

On lending side , IBB desk advanced PKR 0.64 (B) under Placement with other bank
whereas no fresh lending/maturity undertook by conventional desk as a result gross
lending surged to stand at PKR 14.45 (B) @ 6.10 %.
As the fortnightly period is approaching to its peak bank kept liquidity in their books
in order to meet the fortnightly CRR requirement. HabibMetro maintain slightly short
position of aforesaid regulator requirement therefore topped up SBP account which
was funded by fresh interbank borrowing.
During the day bank deposited further PKR 1.05 (B) in SBP current account in order
to further strengthened fortnightly CRR requirement which was partly funded by
increased in deposit of the bank by PKR 0.77 (B) ( 441.74-B) while remaining were
contributed by slight reduction in Net position of the bank .
