Guidelines
1. Please analyze the case and answer the questions in not more than 5 pages with standard
margins (1 inch, standard font (Times new roman, Arial, Calibri bold), font size (not lower
than 11) and standard line spacings.
2. This is a group assignment.
3. The total weight of this assignment is 10%.
4. The due date will be communicated separately.
5. The assignments have to be submitted as a word copy, as a pdf copy and also as a hard copy
(making sure one of them works ). The hardcopy is due at the start of the class on 22nd
February. Late submissions will not be accepted.
6. Anti plagiarism check will be done so please make sure that you do not copy from other
assignments or use online sources without citing them.

Questions
1. What were the challenges in the Indian philanthropic sector? How did GiveIndia address these
challenges?
2. Please review the current presence of GiveIndia on different social media platforms and critique
it.
3. Please frame a Social Media communication strategy for GiveIndia elaborating the approach for
important platforms. For this, identify each of the elements in their social media portfolio and
illustrate with examples what you would do on each of the social media platforms. Please keep in
mind the attributes of each of the media while framing your approach. Further, take note of the
fact that GiveIndia would like to keep investments low.
