COMPLAINT

The Plaintiff, complaining of the Defendant, alleges and says,

1. That the Plaintiff is a citizen and resident of Gaston County, North Carolina and the Defendant is a citizen and
resident of Gaston County, North Carolina. That the Plaintiff [or, Defendant] has been a resident of the State of
North Carolina for at least six months next preceding the filing of this action.
2. That the Plaintiff and Defendant were married on the 28th day of , April ,2014, and lived together as husband and
wife until on or about the 5th day of May, 2015 , when they separated.
3. That since May, the Plaintiff and Defendant have lived continuously separate and apart from each other and have
at no time resumed the marital relationship which formerly existed between them.
Wherefore, the Plaintiff prays that the bonds of matrimony heretofore existing between the parties be dissolved and
the Plaintiff be granted an absolute divorce from the Defendant.
