within the arc of instability and within regions of anticipatedfuture conflicts.

In an era a/fiscal GlIslel'ily, /orce I'educlionsfi'om 202K to 175K, and uncertainly associated with the "New Norm " environmenl, the USMC
Future Force Posture Plan thickens (he forward deployed Marine force posture and provides more flexibility in employing the ARGIMEU within
each Geographic Combatant Command (Gee) coupled with an inherent reach-back capability for additional USMC CONUS-Based CR Forces
providing the NSS and Joint Staffwilh myriad Crisis Response options while gaining efficiencies in meeting Gee Security Cooperation and
