SBS – Soft Ballistic System

Mineral fertiliser requires especially gentle handling to
ensure a precise distribution and an exact placement to
the plant over the entire working width. Fertiliser which
has been damaged whilst going through the spreader
cannot be precisely distributed.
The AMAZONE Soft Ballistic System is integrated into
all ZA-M mounted spreaders. Agitator, metering com-
ponents and spreading discs are optimally matched.

The wide, flat trajectory of the Omnia-Set spread pat-
tern makes it insensitive to both wind and the varying
fertiliser characteristics. This triangular spread pattern
with a long, flat area of drop-off and thus large areas
of overlap is ideal for a safe and perfect spreading
accuracy.
In quality cereal production a late top dressing can

For over 15 years fertiliser data from at home and

tered but, in addition, also the mechanical material data

of heterogeneous mineral fertilisers are immediately de-
tected and the spreader re-adjusts itself automatically.
For the field related nutrient balance the spread quantity
is accurately documented.
The adaptation of the application rate ensures a well-

AMAZONE ZA-M profiS Hydro with hydraulic
spreading disc drive offers full independence from
engine speed and forward speed. Modern tractors
with comfortable hydraulic management systems can
be driven at optimised engine revs that results in fuel
saving. The main advantage of this drive system is the
variable working width control at the field’s edge
