Greetings!
I hope you enjoyed the extended
winter season. The season has
changed and bright summer days are
upon us. Summer is the season for
holidays with friends and family, we
have designed novel offerings to make
your visit to The Oberoi, New Delhi
nothing less than a vacation.
Summer is the time to indulge in a
new hobby and nurture interests, and
in keeping with this spirit, Chef
Vincenzo will be conducting Italian
cooking sessions in Travertino, our
Patisserie will be hosting a kids
contest to keep the little ones
creatively engaged and weekly wine
tasting sessions, make it the perfect
reason to meet and greet with friends
and family. Furthermore, the Chefs at
Threesixty will offer a fun and
delectable menu to help you embark
on a culinary holiday which we are
certain you will enjoy with friends,
family and all loved ones.
This year, we are celebrating 5
glorious decades of excellence in
hospitality and I would like to thank
you for your kind patronage, year after
year, that has made us a New Delhi

Pomello salad with crab meat and mirin dressing
Rocket and palm heart salad with water chestnuts,
spiced walnut brittle, balsamic vinaigrette

White mushroom, spinach and goat cheese

avocado, onion and cheese smoked tomato and
cilantro salsa

Kids cooking
classes:
Cooking and creativity are often interlinked. The Oberoi Patisserie & Delicatessen offers creative
bakery and confectionery classes for children, on request, for a minimum batch of 5 children.
The duration of the classes is approximately two hours and are conducted by the Pastry Chef himself
along with his team, to ensure that every child gets adequate attention.
The classes include decorating cookies and cupcakes with various
frostings, making marzipan figures and more.
Participation charges: Rs. 4,000/- per child.

Little Chefs!
The Oberoi Patisserie Little Chefs was first initiated as a kids contest with the motive of unleashing each childs
creativity via food. Over the years, its popularity has been replicated in various forms across the city and we are only
too happy to announce the registrations open for the 4th Annual Oberoi Patisserie Little Chefs!
The competition will involve cookie baking, cup cake icing and marzipan modeling under the able supervision of
our Chefs. Registrations are invited from children in the age group of 6 12 years.

This season, celebrate Easter in the traditional spirit. Add a special touch
to your celebration with special Easter treats from The Oberoi Patisserie
and Delicatessen. Choose your indulgence from a selection of Cranberry
Hot cross buns, Simnel cake, Carrot hazelnut cake, Easter eggs, Easter
chocolate bunnies, Easter cupcakes and Easter cheese cake pastry.

Trivia

Eggs are a symbol of the new life that returns to nature at Easter Time.
The custom of exchanging eggs began long before Easter was celebrated.
It was custom of the Egyptian and the Persians. They exchanged eggs
decorated in spring colors. They believed Earth hatched from an egg
which contributed to this custom.
