Expectation is to have regional support available by CY Q4, 2014.
To support partner delivered cloud to cloud integration, Oracle is developing open
APIs and a cloud based integration platform that will allow SIs to perform their own
mapping and integration. Timing TBD.

The scope of the Multilingual Candidate Experience includes collection and configuration of translated content. It is the customer's
responsibility to create and validate all translated content in advance of its configuration. The availability of customer translation
resources and the volume of translatable content may impact the overall project timeline, which could result in a change order.

53
Week 0-1
Key Activities:
The first week of the Taleo Enterprise implementation is focused on key preparations you must undertake that will ensure
the optimal use of the project resources and the timely meeting of all delivery milestones.
As referenced earlier in this handbook, you should make use of the Team Meeting Agenda 1 document to assemble the
core project resources and work through the recommended Project Readiness Activities:
Complete the Taleo Enterprise Orientation e-learning module
Complete the Taleo Risk Assessment
Review the Taleo Project Resource Matrix and determine any potential gaps
Complete an initial draft of the Taleo Project Charter
Another key activity that you should be engaging in immediately is in encouraging the customer to engage in the collection
of artifacts that will support the definition of the requirements; things like job application forms, samples of staffing reports
you use today, job description content, offer letter samples, correspondence samples, and any staffing process or policy
documentation that you have available.
54
Week 1-2
Key Activities:
The second week of the Taleo Enterprise implementation will see the introduction of the Program Manager, the prime contact
and a true partner in the success. the Program Manager will work with you immediately to:
Validate the project scope from the Statement of Work
Review the results of the Risk Assessment
Review and finalize the Taleo Project Charter
Review the Project Resources
Define the Taleo Project Schedule / Calendar
Define requirements gathering tasks
The Program Manager will also introduce key foundational concepts and task the project team with activities to determine the
optimal information structure for the Taleo solution. A thorough review of the Taleo Decision Guide, a key tool for
requirements gathering, and upcoming milestones and activities will also take place
Finally, the Taleo Program Manager will work with you to determine the agenda and content for the Project Kick-Off event.
55
Weeks 3&4
Key Activities:
56
Beginning with the Project Kick-Off event, the third and fourth weeks of the Taleo Enterprise implementation will see you shift into critical
deliverables mode that will drive the subsequent configuration of the Taleo Solution. the Taleo Program Manager will work with the team
to:
Define a Content Strategy and Workplan for the development of job template and pre-screening content
Validate Recruiter and Manager Experience requirements using the Taleo Decision Guide and the Success Metrics Questionnaire
The Implementation Consultant will be working hard behind the scenes converting the requirements into a fully configured Taleo Solution
The Technical Consultant will be working with the technical team to configure integration connectivity and validate the integration touchpoint design.
Towards the end of the fourth week, the Program Manager will want to check-in on change management activities, validate the training
schedule, and work on the overall End-User Support strategy.
57
This is a very exciting time in the Taleo Enterprise implementation, since the Implementation team will engage the customer in the
Design Review process. The first feedback session will include a detailed in-system walk-through of the Candidate Experience, where
you and the project team, as well as any other end-user representatives you care to invite, can offer input and feedback to the design.
The second feedback session will be run the same as the first however the focus will be on the Recruiter and Hiring Manager
experiences. All feedback will be captured in the Design Feedback Manager which will be used by the Implementation Consultant to
amend the configuration with all agreed upon changes. Then, a third and final design review session will occur, where the entire
functional scope will be reviewed in-system.
While these functional review sessions are occurring, the Technical teams will be testing the integration configuration and finalizing any
network or end-user desktop configurations required.
The Content Development activities should also be continuing, per the scope of the earlier-defined workplan. The Program Manager will
want to do a status check on this work towards the end of Week 7.
The Program Manager will also be seeking the Functional and Technical Design Acceptance which will indicate readiness to move to the
Deployment phase of the project
Weeks 9, 10, 11
Key Activities:
With the acceptance of the Taleo design, you will now move on to
58
receive training for the end users, as well as begin working through the
Deployment Checklist with the Program Manager. Activities that will
be critical in preparation for the system launch are:
Implementation data clean-up
End User/Hiring Manager communications of pending launch and
transition
Completion of pre-launch content development and entry into Taleo
Active requisition transition into Taleo
Week 12
Key Activities:
Upon the completion of end-user training and deployment preparation, you are ready to declare the
Enable the Taleo Career Sites in the corporate web and intranet sites
Communicate the launch with the target audiences (as defined in the change plan)
Celebrate the success!
The Team, including the Program Manager and the Remote System Administrator (RSA), will closely
monitor the activity during the days post-go-live. The Program Manager will then arrange a convenient
time, within two weeks of the Taleo launch, to conduct the Taleo Enterprise Implementation Close-Out
meeting, when the transition to the Taleo Customer Success team will be complete.
