ABOUT US: Teach First is an education charity that was founded to engage the UKs brightest talent in fighting a serious social problem educational inequality. Over the past 13
years we have grown to become the UKs largest graduate recruiter and are currently ranked

WORK EXPERIENCE OFFERED: Insight is an opportunity to experience a snapshot of our
Leadership Development Programme (LDP), develop employability skills and inspire young
people studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).

This two-week residential programme is a paid opportunity. You will spend the first week at
our London office and focusing on training and personal development. This will prepare you
for the second week, where you will be placed in one of our partner schools across England
and Wales. The programme will give you the opportunity not only to teach your own lesson,
but to find out more about the problem of educational inequality first-hand.
STUDENTS SOUGHT: Students must be in their penultimate year and be eligible to teach a
STEM subject on our programme. This includes students who possess A-levels in Science or
Maths at grade B or higher.
WEEKLY PAY IN 2016: Salary of 250 per week and accommodation provided by Teach
First
LENGTH OF INTERNSHIPS: 2 weeks
DATES OF INTERNSHIPS: Tuesday 5 April - Friday 15 April, Tuesday 7 June - Friday 17 June
NUMBER OF INTERNSHIPS THIS YEAR: Around 150 places will be available.
