ABSTRACT
This research examines the way in which the modern environmental policies of
planning are applied in level of municipality via the example of municipality Vrilissia. The
last years environmental actions in Vrilissia., such as reformations of urban spaces, bicycles
ways, paving e.t.c. constitute critical elements of environmental planning. Nevertheless,
without overlooking the value of these energies, this research points out the problems that
are created in the application of policies for a sustainable growth.
