ST. GABRIEL CHURCH DECORATIONS

I have spoken different times about the
work that is done behind the scenes, jobs that
are noticed if no one does them. These behind
the scenes jobs are often taken for granted,
but are very important for our beautiful celebrations. One of these positions is taking care
of interior decorations for our liturgies in our
churches. For the past number of years Debbie Morovits has done a very good job taking
care of the interior decorations at St. Gabriels. She is moving to La Crosse at the end of
August and she has resigned this position.
She would like to help teach her replacement
in what this job entails. If you might be interested in taking this position, or perhaps
knowing more about it, please contact Debbie
or the parish office. Thank you Debbie for
your service, and God bless.
7 YEARS AND COUNTING
With last weeks Brat fest, I have completed my 7th year here at Holy Family Parish. I would like to thank all our parishioners
for their continued generosity and support for
the mission of our parish and school. I ask for
your continued support, especially your prayers as we continue striving to build Gods
kingdom in our city, parish, school and
homes.
MISSION
You may have noticed in last weeks
paper an article on our mission team who has
returned from a successful trip in service to
South Carolina. This has become a favorite of
many of our young people every summer, and
is a testament to our families. This summer,
12 kids took a week out of their very busy and
active summer schedule, not to go on a vacation, but to offer a week of service to a community in need. Many in our community support this mission trip through special donations, and we could not do this without your
support. Thank you for supporting the youth
of our parish.

It is getting very close for our annual appeal for
2016-17. One addition to this years appeal is the
