1. Assuming volumetric efficiency of 0.8, the required pump displacement is
(500)/(0.8) = 625 bbl/day
2. Based on welldepth 4500 ft and pump displacement 625 bbl/day, Fig 12.8
suggest API 320 unit with 84 in. stroke, that is, a pump is selected with the
following designation:

3. Table 12.4 g suggest the following: Tubing size : 2-1/2 in OD, 2.259 in ID
