IMTD
IMDT is working with mission convergence since December 2008. We were sanctioned the
areas of old Delhi as Sita Ram Bazar, Chawri Bazar, Lal Kuan, Bali Maran, G. B. Road, Jama
Masjid , We completed the survey of 10500 household appox. and got the detailed history of
poor and vulnerable household and families. We observed that in these congested areas,
people are really in need as most of the men are suffering from different diseases and
cannot afford to work and it is difficult for women to take the burden of family responsibility.
We also observed 40% are disabled and 30-35 % are widows and divorcees. With the grace
Delhi Government, it will be possible for us to give beneficiaries the required necessaties.
We find people in this area are vulnerable and poor and find them needy. We are aware and
known to these areas very well and It will be comfortable for us to perform activities and
provide facilities to them to complete the mission of mission convergence.

initiative involves formation of women and youth collectives (groups) at the grassroots level, to
address the issues of women safety at public places and support women in distress including
situations of sexual harassment / assault and rape. It is envisaged that these collectives would act
as an effective instrument of change in their respective communities and bring about perceptible
improvement both in societal mindset towards gender issues and the physical environment.

They have 4 groups which includes 20 members. Another group that includes the stakeholders.

of IMTD try to counsel the people who approach them for help. help the people who come for
their help. They help them to get their report registered in the nearest police station, provide
councelling etc.
