MyhomeiscompletelydifferentfromhowitwaswhenIfirstmadeit.Firstly,therearefarmorewebsnowthantherewerebefore.WhenIfirstbuiltit,I

carefullystringinginvisiblyfinethreadsaroundtheentiretyofmyhome.Thesethreadswerenttheslightestbitsticky,buttheysnapattheslightest
touch.Theyresoweakthattheyllsnapontheirownafterawhile,justfromslightchangesintheaircurrents,andwilltheneventuallystickharmlessly
tothewallpaper.Iwasntabletomakeathreadthisfinebefore,butitlookslikeIgainedevenmorecontrolaftermySpiderSilkskillleveleduptofive.
Themainpurposeofthesethreadsistoalertmetoanyincomingenemies.Iveattachedmyselftothem,soIllfeelthevibrationisanythingeven
brushesagainstthem.Theseenemydetectingthreadsaremysolutiontotheextremelyinconvenientproblemofnotbeingabletoseebehindme,
andIvestrungthemupeverywheresothatIdonthavetoworryintheslightestaboutsurpriseattacksfromtherear.Eventually,Idliketofigureout
howtooperatetheseremotelysothatIcanstartfeelingoutareasoutsidemyhome.
Ofcourse,afterIfinishedallofthis,Ihadcompletelyrunoutofthingstodo.Iturnedtospinningabunchofsilkwithnoparticulargoalinmind,which
thankfullypushedmyskillproficiencyovertheedgetolevelsix.Thisnowletsmeproducesilkofunbelievablyhighquality,whichIvebeenusingmy

Letssee,sofarIvecaughtthreeElroRandanels,oneElroPekatot,oneElroBasilisk,andone,uh,Finjegoat.Allofthemgotcaughtinmyweb,
andIdispatchedthemallwithmypoisonfangs.ThethreeRandanelsshowedupatthesametime,whichcaughtmealittleoffguard,butthanksto
myamazingwebweavingskillsIcaughtandkilledthemallquiteeasily.ThePekatotlookedkindoflikeapenguinandapelicanhadababy,andthat
babyhadweirdmonkeylikearms.TheFinjegoatlookedkindoflikeabee,butitwassuperhuge,nearlythreemeterslong!Itnearlyfilledupthe
entirehallway.Ofcourse,thankstothat,itgottangledupinevenmoreofmywebs.
ThemostdangerousofthemallwastheBasilisk.Itwasahuge,lizardlikemonsterthat,truetoitsname,hadapetrificationattack.Justlikeinthe
fairytale,ithitmewithitspetrifyinggazeandturnedoneofmyfrontlegstostone.Luckily,therateatwhichthepetrificationspreadwasverylow,soI
wasabletokillitoffbeforeitbecametoomuchofaproblem,butthatwasstillthemostformidablepreyIvecaughtsofar.UntilIleveledupandshed
myskin,Ihadtolivewithapetrifiedleg.Sure,pickingupthePetrificationResistanceskillmayhavemadethisanetplus,butthiswasevenmore
dangerousthanthefrogwas!
Ah,Imayhaveperhapsglossedoveritjustnow,butIdid,infact,levelup.Ididsothreetimes,infact!Iamnowlevelfive.TheskillsthatIknowIhave
arePoisonFangatlevelfour,SpiderSilkatlevelsix,Appraisalatleveltwo,Tabooatlevelone,CorruptionMagicatlevelone,PoisonResistanceat
levelfive,AcidResistanceatleveltwo,DecayResistanceatlevelone,andPetrificationResistanceatlevelone.EventhoughIwentupthreelevels,
myskillshavebarelygoneup!Appraisalhasntevenbudgedfromleveltwo.ItlookslikeImighthaveoverestimatedhowmanybonusproficiency
pointsIgotonlevelup.
ImissedthiswhenIfirstleveledup,butitlookslikeIgainskillpointswheneverIgainalevel,althoughitdoesntlooklikeIgetverymany.Igotreally
excitedwhentheVoiceofHeavensaidIgotskillpoints,butIwasleftseriouslydisappointedwhenItriedtoactuallyspendthem.Irackedmybrain,
tryingeveryconvenientRPGskillIcouldthinkoflikeItemBoxorAutomaticRegeneration,butIcouldntpickupanyofthem.Icouldntevenfind
outiftheytrulyexisted!EverytimeIasked,theonlyresponseIgotbackfromtheVoiceofHeavenwasInsufficientskillpoints.
