Low Cost Travel

When you are a young adult and you try to make your way in life, but you also want to have fun
meanwhile, maybe travel is one of your priorities. This is a quick guide of how move inside
Europe with the less amount of money as possible.
1st Pickup a destination:
You always can use pages like Trip Advisor (http://www.tripadvisor.com)
to help you to choose a destination, also another way is to pick the place
where you already have a friend or family (the adventurer can save a lot if
you have a couch to crash, and enjoy his company of course) or just go
inside Skyscanner (http://www.skyscanner.ie/) or the well known Edreams
(http://www.edreams.net/), to find a good price to any place and then you
can find out what you can do over there!!!
Tricks: Using incognito mode to navigate through this pages can save you
extra money.
Edreams have different price rates for their differentes country pages (edreams.es, edreams.pt,
etc.), so maybe you should scan all the pages before choose one destination.
2nd Pick a Place to Crash.
To find a place to sleep in the place you choose
can be a hard task. Again, you don't need a five
stars hotel for a vacation if you will always be in
the streets looking for touristic places and
adventure, but a good bed is always welcome
after a long day walking around the city (or
during a hangover).
Normally you can a look for acomodation in
Hostelworld.com, you can choose to share your
room with 9+ unknowns pals or pay a little extra
for a private room. Also you can check out the
Airbnb page (http://www.airbnb.ie), you can
discover, and book unique accommodations
around the world, from castles to trees houses.
Another good alternative for the more adventurous will be (http://www.couchsurfing.org) when
complete strangers can give you a couch or, with luck, a bed for stay at one night or weekend.
Trick: You can post in your facebook's timeline or tweet where are you going and asking is

someone of your contacts is over there, maybe you have an old friend that moved to that
particular place and you can stay in his couch and catch up!!!.
Sometimes the cheapest prices are far from the city main attractions and you will have to expend
more money to travel inside the city than if you stay in centric place.Take it in your consideration
before traveling.
3rd Find stuff to do.
There are likely two philosophies of how you can face your adventure, one is to try to do as
much as you can, or try to know as much as
you can. Both focus are correct but you have to
choose one before so you can plan better your
trip. If you plan is to do, the city tours and hop
in and hop out style tours may fit your
requirements. But always try to take advantage
of TripAdvisor or maybe just google the place
for extra tricks. If your plan is to know you
should take in consideration the audio guides,
tours and review of each place, in that way you
will enjoy more the few destination you
choose, for example, most all the people that
knows where is the Arc of Triumph in Paris,
but not everybody knows that you can actually
go inside and in the rooftop is one of the most
beautiful lookout points of the city.
Trick: Don't forget you are student, aways visit the tourist information center and show your
student card to have an extra discount.
Look for the subway/bus full day cards, do the math so you can find what is more
convenient for you.
4th Last Considerations:
Luggage: All low cost airlines have strict regulation about the amount of luggage you can take in
your trip. Improving your skills of packing will take advantage of the space limitations of your
carry on. Here is one good video tutorial

Make a plan before you leave: You

time making plans in the place you
adventure as soon you step out of the
prepared and download offlines map
TripAdvisor.

don't want to waste your precious

choose instead of starting your
plane. So try to have a to do list

Have good food and save money

When you live in Dublin and you dont have so much money, especially when youre a
student, you have to concerned about some tips for save money and have a good life, if you
arent concerning yet dont worry, well help you with this. Lets start talking about food like
good & cheap restaurants and how to buy food in a supermarket spending not so much money.
The first rule for a student that doesnt have so much money is make you own food. Go
to a supermarket buy things and cook at home, its cheaper and generally is healthier. But we
know that some students doesnt know how to cook or doesnt have time for this, os just likes to
go out for it, dont worry, we have five tips from cheap and great restaurants.
1. Uki Yo: If you looking for Asian food, you must
know that is a little expensive in Dublin, but there
is a place you can have Asian food and dont spend
so much money that calls Uki Yo. Its a great
place at 9 Exchequer street in Dublin 2, and the
choice there always have to be a bento box, a box
that contains in each of its four sides a different
delicacy: salmon, dumplings, noodles with beef,
etc. The selection changes daily, but always
includes a generous bowl of rice, alll for the low
price of 10 euros.

2. Papa's Pizzeria: When it comes to pizza, almost anything

works. You still can have a large portion with fries and drink
included in Papa's, that located at 104 Talbot Street in Dublin 1.
All of this things just for five euros.

3. Honest to goodness: its the right place when youre

hungry and cold, but no time. You can have soup &
sandwich combo just for seven euros and you can take
it right there or order take away to sip while chaotic
covered market in which it is installed is explored. The
Honest is located at 25 George Street Arcade in Dublin
2.
4. Eddie Rocket: its the right place when youre

starving, especially after going out to a pub

or a nightclub because they open 24 hours
per day on fridays and saturdays. They have
fast food delicious sandwiches and the best:
low price. So go to this restaurant and enjoy
great food for low price in american style.
You can find an Eddie Rockets anywhere in
Dublin, because they have a lot of
restaurants like other fast food places such as
Mc Donalds and Burguer King, who by the
way are also good options for places to eat
with low prices.

5. Boojum: its a nice place if youre looking for mexican

food. But its not just this, its a place with good vibes and kind
of witty. You can have their fajitas, tacos and burritos, get full
and just spend 5 or 6 euros, so go there. The Boojum located is
Millennium Walkway in Dublin 1.

You just had excellent tips about good and cheap

restaurants, but if you have more time, like and know
how to cook, its better go to the supermarket, buy some
things and make you own food. At Dublin you can find
many places to buy food, but the most popular
supermarkets are Lidl, Tesco and Spare. Lidl is the
cheapest one, but Tesco can be good sometimes, if you
buy things with no popular brand, for example: at tesco
when you want to buy rice, there is Uncle Bels, Tilda
and Tesco Rise. Mostly Tesco Rise is the cheapest, but
its not a rule, so always pay attention to these things,
because when you do it to everything you buy, you can save a good money. The last tip is buy
just what you really need to make you own food, dont buy on necessary thing.
