fascinating marine eco system like Pirotan Island, moist deciduous forest
of Dang. Gir is the last and only home of the critically endangered
Majestic Asiatic Lion. Once again we welcome all Youth Hosteller
Friends from all over India to join Wonderful Exploring the Mount Girnar,
Forest of Gir and historical ancient city of Junagadh. The programme is
conducted by Gujarat State Branch with the kind support of Forest Dept.
and Mountaineering Institute of Gujarat State. We are ready to deliver
you life time memorable moments with this programme.
Reporting Dates : Purpose of the Programme:
The purpose of this programme is to introduce and understand the
ecology of Gir area, unexplored trek routes of Mount Girnar and expose
the cultural and religious glimpses of Gujarat with National Integration.

2: Trek to Chhippar-Mount Girnar and visit to Sakkarbaug Zoo. Cultural

3: Trek to Taleti & climbing trek to Patthar Chati & night stay at higher
camp.

Down trek to base camp & Devalia Park Visit
5: Lion Safari early morning and Somnath Temple at noon. Return to
base
camp
Junagadh.

Warning : Carrying of non bio-degradable material in National Park is an
offence. Smoking, use of alcohols and narcotics of any description are
strictly
prohibited during
programme.
This is 6 days Trekking Expedition in the world famous Lion
sanctuary in Saurashtra Area of Gujarat.

Base Camp Junagadh is well connected with Rajkot & Ahmedabad
with Rail Network as well as Road connectivity.
Fees
:
Rs.4500/- (Only for Member) which covers dormitory/tented
accommodation in Jungle area, simple nutritious, healthy food,
Jeep Safari & forest entry fees and visit of the great Somnath emple by
bus and Junagadh city sight seeing by local transportation.
