Kiwi Gel Scrub

CL-S0009(LA)

This Kiwi Gel Scrub was designed to exfoliate leaving a soft skinfeel that is refreshing and energizing, while also leaving the skin feeling light and silky. Carbopol*
Aqua SF-1 Polymer stabilizes the formulation and suspends the beads, and Hydramol* PGPL Ester imparts emolliency to the skin.

Procedure:
1.

PART A: Solubilize Disodium EDTA into warm Deionized Water (~40C) with
agitation.

2.

Add Carbopol* Aqua SF-1 Polymer to Deionized Water with gentle mixing.

3.

PART B: Neutralize batch with Sodium Hydroxide(18%) and mix until uniform.

4.

PART C: In a separate vessel, solubilize Menthol in Hydramol* PGPL Ester


(40C-45C). Add to main batch.

5.

PART D: In a separate vessel, solubilize Xylitol in Deionized Water. Add to


main batch.

6.

PART E: Add PART E ingredients to the batch in order with mixing.
