Organizational Development: Played instrumental role in building WKHs Clinical Solutions BU from a
$74M business, with 300 employees, into a $543M business, with 1,600 employees and an EBITA margin
of 39%, over a nine-year period.
Global Business Expansion: Drove a 10-fold increase in non-US revenues (from 2%-20%) for the CS

VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE WKH CLINICAL SOLUTIONS (CS) BUSINESS UNIT (2006 2015)
Promoted to manage all aspects of finance for this newly formed business unit, with a focus on supporting its
aggressive bottom-line growth. Led the functions of budgeting, forecasting, accounting systems, operational
financial management, and strategic planning. Provided support for M&A, pre- and post-acquisition, and global
expansion initiatives, in addition to managing annual business costs to optimize profits. Led and directed finance
and planning staff of 40 with eight direct reports, including four VPs of Finance representing each operating unit.
Facilitated growth of CS business from $74M in 2006 to $543M in 2015 (at EBITA margin of 39%), the fastest
growing and one of the most profitable business units in WKH, rated as a Top-3 Healthcare IT and Medical
Content Company by KLAS in 2013.
Supported the units aggressive growth as a key senior team member in leading five business acquisitions
representing $700M in strategic assets; acquisitions included: UptoDate, Pharmacy OneSource, MedicomChina, Lexicomp, and Health Language.
Grew non-US revenues from 2% in 2006 to 20% in 2015 through globalization of the business.

Served as interim General Manager for three-month period; oversaw the budget process and product strategy,
as well as working closely with the VP of Sales to ensure weekly sales milestones were achieved.
Upgraded talent and enhanced efficiency of the finance function via the talent management system.
Scaled business to support operational management in planning and decision-making by driving best
practices and standardized reporting/processes across the business.
Received coveted Pinnacle Award in 2008, normally presented to salespeople, for work on the pre/postacquisition and implementation processes.
Coordinated and co-managed implementation of Great Plains accounting system across the health division,

Reporting directly to the Division CFO, managed financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems of
this $850M division, which included serving as Acting Divisional CFO for a 12-month period, working closely with
Divisional CEO and Business Unit CFOs.
Coordinated task force, including all Health CFOs, resulting in creation of new reporting responsibilities across
the division.
Led implementation of new Hyperion planning system that ensured consistent division forecasting, coordinating
and managing the activities of finance and planning teams across the division.
Managed and/or co-managed teams in the implementations of a new ERP system, digital document archival,
and accounting systems.
Created balance sheet and cash flow forecasting; overachieved operating goals for three consecutive years.
Prior experience included Auditor and Senior Auditor roles with CPA firms Brown Smith & Wallace, LLC (St. Louis, MO)
and Bansley & Kiener LLC (Chicago, IL). Organized and supervised financial audits for manufacturing, financial
institution, small business, and not-for-profit clients. Supervised and reviewed performance of staff accountants on
audit engagements. Prepared corporate, individual, and not-for-profit federal tax returns.
