HOW TO: Enable vSpace 7 Direct Management

vSpace 7 includes the ability to manage L300 and M300 devices running older, legacy firmware builds
using a feature called Direct Management. Below are the steps for enabling this functionality.
1. From the Settings menu at the top left of the console window, select Management Server.

2. Click the X button at the top right of the Management Server popup window.

3. Click OK on the Not connected to Management Server dialog window.

4. L300 devices running firmware 1.6.3 or older, and M300 devices running 2.0.54 or older will now be
visible in the Devices tab of the left navigation tree.

To return to managing current firmware versions, close and reopen the console.
