CURRENT EVENT ASSIGNMENT

History is a tool to understanding past, present and future. In order to fully understand the link
between past and present students will need to examine a number of issues that illustrate the
changing local, American and world scene.
Current event articles will be due every two weeks throughout the year. Make certain to choose
an article that is of interest to you. The following is the format:

Assignments must consist of 3 TYPED paragraphs, and paragraphs must be at least 4

sentences. Make sure that you attach your article behind your writing.
Note: Refer to syllabus for writing guidelines. You will always use MLA writing style.
