Chapter I
Introduction
Since the advent of computer it has brought a lot of
development and innovations in humans lives. We can now actually
say that we are living in a digital world. The rise of electronic
data processing such as smart phones, tablet pc and other
handheld devices has been replaced the era of analog devices.
Internet for example, since its development up to the present is
truly a big help for us. It has improved data processing into a
very modern way. It started only as a means of digital
communication but now internet offers a lot of services one of
those is e-commerce. Thats why all companies around the world
tend to create an online website to reach their consumers in
different part of world. For instance, online shopping which is a
great innovation in business industry. These online portal or

websites makes shopping a more convenient and hassle free way to

shop.
But my study will make online shopping more exciting and
interactive hence my research study is called Interactive Online
Clothing Shopping this will change the way people shop online
aside from the clothes that they can browse on the website they
can also interact with it by fitting the clothes they want to buy
with the different avatars or models within the websites. So
having these features will give consumers a different experience
to shop because they would feel that they are actually fitting
the clothes online. Its not just the typical browsing, clicking
and adding to cart the product you wish to buy but you also do
simulation.

Theoretical Framework

My research study is based on the idea of e-commerce,

websites offering online hot deals products like e-bay and online
computer games such as dress me up or dress up which is getting
popular now in Facebook social networking website.
Sims a strategic life simulation computer game developed by
Maxis and published by Electronic Arts.

Conceptual Framework
As Ive said in my theoretical framework that Interactive Online
Shopping is the idea behind e-commerce and online simulation
games like the Sims and Dress me up. Those existing internet
services merged into one to create a more advanced interactive
online shopping website.
The concept of e-commerce or B2B (Business-to-Business), where
there are offered products to a certain website and then people
can choose or buy among those products within the website
provided they have the following needed requirements like
personal information (name, address, postal code and e-mail
address), internet connections, and most importantly they have an
online account like Paypal, a website that transact online
shoppers payment to their bills in secure, safer and easy way.
They must also have credit, debit card or bank account.

How the system will work? First they have to sign-up or register
in the website, supply necessary information in the fields
provided (Name, Address, Postal Code, e-mail address and paypal
account). Secondly, if all fields are answered correctly then a
verification letter will be sent to the user or applicant to
confirm his application or registration. And lastly after
confirmation he or she can now use the entire website services
(shop online).

Figure 1. Interactive Online Shopping Conceptual Framework

Significance of the study

Nowadays, people are already engaged in online shopping

because it is more convenient, hassle free and a lot cheaper than
going to the shopping malls. Thus, my study the Online
Interactive Shopping will help current online retailer to offer
advanced online experience for shoppers and also attract others
to find better products and experienced shopping transaction
online. It will also boost e-commerce industry.
Scope and Delimitation
Online Interactive Shopping is a shopping website that deals and
focuses only on clothes selling. Aside from the features
mentioned on the objectives. The system also covers price alerts
which would enable customers or users to receive
messages when price for products changes especially if its on
sale or promo. Users can also have multiple shipping and billing
information when they checkout.

Chapter 2
Review of Related Literature & Studies
There are various online shopping websites now on the Internet.
For example:

Amazon, Ebay, Lazada and Zalora (The most popular

shopping site in the country today.) As I review the following

shopping websites I found out that it all have similarities in
various ways but only one thing it doesnt possesses which the is
ease of use of users and thats the ability to simulate or fit
the desired product of the user to various avatars just like the
dressmeup application.
Hence, my review of the literature for this study focuses on the
services that existing online shopping website.

Below was a

study of the popular shopping website in US, the Amazon.

According to the website http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/
Since 1995, Amazon has established itself as the worlds leader
in e-commerce.
In this article, we will discuss a number of features of the
Amazon shopping experience:

The focus of an e-commerce site should be product search and

online buying.

Whenever possible, content should be unique for each user.

Create sales incentives by giving Why shop with us

reminders.

Give products as much exposure as possible.

Dont make the user feel as some

products/services are being

forced on them.

Make important sections easily accessible at the appropriate

time.

Make the shopper feel comfortable and in control at all

times.
