The riser has a 21 inch OD with thickness of wall rated at .812 or something similar LESS THAN ONE INCH THICKNESS indicated on the GE
site. Go to www.drillingahead.com and look left side for Deepwater Horizon EXPLOSION blogs going from 1 to 18 looking at the
PROFESSIONAL HANDS comments and the information on type of pipe is there with that Google same and find the exact models.

"The BP spill riser is 21-inch pipe. 4-inch pipe has 3.6% the cross-section area (as radius^2) and 0.13% the fluid conductance (as radius^4). Things are
no better allowing for respective wall thicknesses. Vetco HMF Class H 21-inch riser pipe has .812" walls. The oil cannot be meaningfully sucked
upwards because it is rich with methane, 3000:1 gas:oil according to BP.

Thick horseshoe of medium velocity explosive (surface mining gel explosive) with an inner lining of high density pusher (lead; lead-tungsten composite)
about the hollow center, then a collapsible gap spacer. Slide it snug around the riser, then detonate at the outside curved end. The riser crimps shut
when the implosion tamper arrives on both sides. Think of it as a channel charge designed to hammer not cut.

Was that so difficult? A donut may have problems of closing a clamshell around the riser, symmetric detonation, and where intervening mass goes as
the implosion tamper ring constricts."

MY PERSONAL REPLY COMMENT IS DO NOT USE EXPLOSIVES NEAR THIS ESCAPING GAS OR YOU MAY SEE IXTOC 2 IN EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO !

APPARENTLY WALL THICKNESS IS .812 Inches which would allow the Branko Richard Babic CPP with flow thru pipe to work with that special beveled
flange and SLEEVE of thick wall pipe 22 INCHES ID maybe 4 feet thick guided down by ROV over the cut riser or pulled left or right to cut horizontally
section which can be pulled and pushed inside the riser in a similar fashion then ROV bore HOLES, TAP SAME and use heavy BOLTS to pull it and hold it
in place even if extra steel with huge bolts and nuts could PULL same into the riser.   That was suggested to KEEP the rig working but now it appears
the underground sections have been pulled OUT by the force with the Deepwater Horizon not having ENGINES FOR THRUSTERS TO KEEP IT IN
POSITION so everything pulled, filled with water, collapsed in the fires of fuel and gas then SUNK twisting and braking loose from Deepwater Horizon
whiich, along with the bodies are no doubt on the bottom.  
 
BP was given the CPP without Pipe and shutoff to get weights on same and force into three leaks...one attached formerly to Rig, one back on floor of
sea bed then one near the BOP attachment.   NO ONE CALLED NOR CALLED THE INVENTOR BABIC IN OXFORD ENGLAND and they could have made up
an exact replica in a welding shop, supported the PIPE with blocks then pushed same down inside a similar 21 inch OD riser pipe with .813 inch walls. 
NOTHING WAS DONE !
 
Horizontal SEALING with Branko R. Babic CPP with pipe just under size of flowing pipe would have allowed FULL PULL OFF OF ALL GAS, OIL AND
WATER to the surface AFTER ROV WITH CUT SAW HYDRAULIC 50 INCH WHEEL CUT AWAY THE PIPE CLEAN FOR INSERTION..... NOTHING DONE.  The
BOP has a connection perhaps a type of flange where IT could be removed then pipe cut and NEW FLANGE ITEM FOR BOP replaced with SHUTOFF but
no one has done anything.
 
My fear is the BOP connection going into the ground X number of feet to meet with another smaller pipe with annular possibly damaged from TORQUE or
PRESSURE PULL could easily be a problem quickly if MOTHER NATURE PUSHES UP THE BOP SECTION DAMAGED IN A BELCH OF PRESSURE.   I would
have felt better seeing the GIANT SQUARE HEAVY OBJECT LOWERED OVER THE BOP but that will not happen now that the ENGINEERS contacted the
EXPERTS AND BOP MANUFACTURER TO REALIZE PLAN B WAS TO TOP KILL THEN PLAN C WOULD BE X AND FINAL PLAN D WOULD BE X.
 
We encouraged EVERYONE TO TALK WITH THE PEMEX EXPERTS ON HOW THEY STOPPED THE RUAWAY WELL IXTOC 1 IN 1979.   THE TECHNIQUE
FORCING LEAD BALLS UNDER HIGH PRESSURE BELOW THE BOP SEALING NOT ONLY THE BOP BUT PUTTING LEAD FORCED INTO SOME 300 FEET OF
UNDERWATER CASING WITH THE LEAD FLATTENING OUT FOR SAY 300 FEET MAY INDEED SEAL THE WELL PERMANENTLY IF THEY FOLLOW
TECHNIQUES FROM IXTOC 1 IMMEDIATELY !
 
As indicated I HOPE AND PRAY the other risers have shutoff valves and hydraulic oil check valves so that in any emergency in the future like
EARTHQUAKE OR MAN MADE DISASTER LIKE THIS ONE, ALL WILL NOT SIMPLY PULL OUT THE BOP LINES AND HAVE UNCONTROLLABLE GAS AND OIL
FILLING THE GULF AND THE GAS CLOUDS THREATENING EVERYTHING AND OIL THREATENING THE ENVIRONMENT DAMAGING SAME FOR 10-20
YEARS LIKE CHERNOBYL WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
 
I FEAR, AS YOU DO, THE NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS NOT BEING ABLE TO SHUT DOWN WITH A CLOUD KILLING ALL PEOPLE IN A PARTICULAR AREA
PLUS FEAR GAS HITTING INTAKES FOR ALL MOTORS AND MACHINERY, KILLING PEOPLE ALL OVER FLORIDA OR THE GULF COAST WITH NO OXYGEN
AS THE GAS IS HEAVIER THAN AIR......ANYONE CAN DEAL WITH THE STENCH OF ROTTING FISH, BIRDS AND SEA CREATURES BUT THE STENCH OF
ROTTING HUMAN FLESH IS REALLY SOMETHING WHICH WILL BE UNBEARABLE PLUS IN FLORIDA ALONE SOME 200 MILLION BODY BAGS AND
CREMATION WITH BP OIL RESIDUE WILL BE NECESSARY OR ALL THE WATER AND WATER TABLES WILL BE CONTAMINATED AND NOT SAFE TO DRINK
ANYWHERE ON THE GULF COAST AND FLORIDA........... NOW THAT IS SOMETHING THE PRESIDENT MUST KEEP IN MIND WHEN DECIDING TO HAVE BP
MOVE OVER AND LET THE USCG, MILITARY AND U.S. NAVY SEA BEES STOP THE LEAK NOW !
 
Of course, like me Brent, you too will be able to send in suggestions and someday there might be a government official who decides to check with the
NAVY SEA BEES AND NAVY DIVERS to see this would actually work and stop the well.....even PEMEX would help as the spill could move WEST
endangering them like IXTOC 1.

Did you ever get anyone to let you know what the Inside Diameter of the pipe is? I can't get a response. Do you have the email addresses of BP or
anyone else that may know the true I.D. size? Without the true size, ( not speculated ) my hands are kind of tied.

the patented idea from Brenelle on their JET SWET configuration using 18 inch flow thru thick wall pipe and ball valve with flange
would SEAL THE INTERIOR OF THE 21 INCH OUTSIDE DIAMETER RISER PIPE. One thing he would need immediately is to know the
INSIDE DIAMETER OF THE RISER PIPE in order to get the patented idea made with even 18 inch heavy wall pipe.

We discussed the fact that BP through a ROV could CUT CLEAN AROUND THE PIPE WHERE YOU HAVE INSERTED A 6 INCH PIPE
TO COLLECT OR DRAIN OFF OIL AND GAS PERHAPS. Such would allow a clean opening NOT BENT to be the next challenged
insertion point with TAPERED STEEL WASHERS POINTING TO THE ENDS AND HUGE RUBBER COMPRESSION ITEMS INBETWEEN
WITH STEEL PLATING WELDED ON THE UPSTREAM SIDE THEN SPECIAL THREADED SECTION CLEAR OF THE DOWNSTREAM
WASHER WHERE THE ROV ASSISTING CAN TWIST RIGHTY TIGHTY TO SEAL THE INTERIOR OF THE PIPE WHILE ALLOWING FULL
FLOW TO CONTINUE DOWNSTREAM THROUGH A FLANGE WELDED ON THE PERHAPS 18 INCH PIPE WHICH WOULD ALLOW A
BALL VALVE AND ANOTHER FLANGE TO FLANGE CONNECTION MADE UP THEN YOUR RISER COULD BE FITTED WITH A
WATERPROOF SEAL AREA FLANGE TO BALL VALVE THEN ONCE REMOVING THE WATERPROOF SEAL AND ATTACHING OPEN
TO THE FLANGE THE OPTION WOULD BE TO TAKE 18 INCHES OF OIL AND GAS TO THE SURFACE AND ALSO BE ABLE TO SEAL
THE LINE LATER.

NOW AS BEFORE....I WOULD ENCOURAGE EACH OF YOU TO CONSIDER USING THE CUT PIPE SECTION TO PUSH A SLEEVED
ITEM TO BE ABLE TO ATTACH L SHAPPED STEEL TO HOLD THE ENTIRE 18 INCH PIPE IN PLACE ...... ALL CAN BE DONE IN 8
HOURS FLAT !

Brenelle will be given other messages pertinent to this idea so they can help ALL seal this leak as one works, two can be added then entire
well secured from leaks UNDERWATER at sea floor with contents pumped to the surface or SHUT DOWN at your leisure.

INCH OR EVEN 3 INCH THEN HAVE THREE RUBBRE SECTIONS WHERE THE BLACK IS LOCATED AND TURNING A NUT BY ROV
ATTACHMENT WITH WHEEL WILL ALLOW ONE ROV TO HOLD IN PLACE WHILE THE OTHER TURNS THE WHEEL PUSHING THE
RUBBER AGAINST THE INTERIOR WALL STOPPING FLOW AND LEAKING GAS FORCING SAME TO GO UP A PIPE TO THE
SURFACE PERHAPS OR SHUT DOWN WITH BALL VALVE, SEAL AND CAP THEN TRY TO SHUT DOWN THE BOP ! Total time 8
