1. Study the pictures.

2. Read the note expansions and circle the verb as to recognize the tense that
should be used to write the story.
3. Write 2 -3 sentences for the introduction and they must be related to the
story.
4. The introduction should be written in Simple Present Tense.
5. You only need to number up the sentences as given in the note expansions.
6. From the note expansions that have been given, you only need to insert a few
words/phrasal to make them complete sentences.
7. You may try to do it by yourself and ask your teacher/parents to correct it for
you.
8. Do the corrections after they have corrected the sentences for you.
9. When you do the corrections, you may transfer the sentences into paragraphs
which a for the first paragraph b second paragraph c third paragraph.
10. Do practice writing the essay because Practice Makes Perfect.

words/phrasal in the note expansions.
This is an example how you are supposed to use the note expansions as your guidance to
write the essay by yourself.

Do remember to use only one verb in past tense in a sentence unless you are using the
conjunctions.
Example :

3. The journey took about an hour to reach the destination.
4. They departed from home at a quarter to nine and the journey took about an hour to
reach the destination.
If you are using another verb in the same sentence without any conjunction, you must add the
second verb with ing.
Example :
Rinas father chose spreading a mat under a big shady tree.
Same as when you use the verb after and before without using any pronouns after them. But, if
you are using the pronoun you must use the verb in past tense.
Examples :
After eating, they changed into their swimming costumes and went to swim and play in the sea.
After they ate the delicious food, they changed into their swimming costumes and went to swim
and play in the sea.
