Description

Mobilicom introduces a unique solution for networked

security operations with the MC-VEST, a wearable
communications unit with built-in cameras. The MC-VEST
offers mobile views and situation awareness for all
guards, vehicles and sensors, providing personnel with
faster response time and improved surveillance for any
incident
Mobilicoms state of the art wireless 4G LTE technology
establishes advanced and reliable connectivity with direct
communications between all ground personnel, vehicles,
command posts and towers, without a single point of
failure.
The MC-VEST can be used by first responders in areas
such as schools, college campuses, banks, malls and even
large commercial facilities such as Oil & Gas installations,
Ports etc.. It offers wireless connectivity to command and
control and those on the private network, with the real-time
sharing of video & data.
The MC-VEST can also be used by public safety
personnel, such as municipal security and police teams.
Connected to the Police Mobile Command Post or area
headquarters, it gives HQ roving eyes on the ground with
superior vision.
The following figure depicts a typical networked scenario of
security personnel with MC-VEST, Mobile Command Post
& Sensors all connected directly to each other.

The MC-VEST-1, Personnel Vest with wearable ad-hoc

communications has all that is needed for First
Responders and Special SWAT teams.
The Vest incorporates Mobilicoms miniature MCU-30 AdHoc 4G Mesh Communications unit, with attached camera
enabling live over the air video transmission as well as
embedded recording capabilities. It also includes antennas
and hot-swap batteries good for 8 hours of use, with
embedded GPS for location rendering -.
In addition. Mobilicom offers a second version, called the
MC-VEST-2, this personnel vest includes a Tablet screen
for Command and Control solutions.
These light-weight vests are easy to wear and carry, and
can be used on the move in both Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) & urban environments as well as inside buildings,
The network overcomes distortion causing multi-path effect
and avoids the video signal breakup that can occur with
other solutions.
