Final oral presentation script

But today research claim that the evidences to accuse saturated


fat as a bad fat are not enough. And more recent research which
studied tree hundred fifty thousand subjects advocated that the
saturated fat has no relationship with increment of heart diseases.
So in brief, we cannot sort the fat as a simple categories like
whether it is saturated or not anymore.
If that soThen what we should consider? And what is the real
villain?
In general if we focus on the double bond in fatty acid structure,
it can be divided in to 2 main types that are unsaturated fat which
include and saturated fat which include.. But if we look
deeper into the unsaturated fat chemical structure, it can be sort out
to other 2 groups that is cis fat and trans fat.
Cis fat can be found in every natural unsaturated fat and was
claimed to be healthy. While trans-fat can be found inand
was argued to be dangerous.
And then, if we focus on the chain length of fatty acid, we can separate
it into 2 types that is medium chain fatty acid and long chain. Medium
chain fatty acids have chain length ranging between 6-12 carbon
atoms and are found in. the absorption of medium chains
fatty acids have been studied and the results show that because it is
small in size, it can be digest rapidly and conveyed directly to the liver
to has metabolism there. So it was claimed to be a good fat. And
another one or long chain fat, it has around 12-18 carbon atoms and
cannot be moved directly to the liver but it will travel around our body
via blood vessel which has an opportunity to stick on our blood vessel
wall.
Apart from the chemical structure, other factor that we should be
careful is what the proper way to use oil or fat is. The answer is very
easy. It is do not use every unsaturated fat for any kind of cooking with
done by heat because unsaturated oil or fat are not stable and they
will break down and change into toxic aldehyde compound which can
cause cancer and heart diseases. But if you like to cook by none heat
method such as make a salad dressing. We rather suggest to use the
unsaturated oil.
Ok, thats all of our detail. And in conclusion, we have
summarized the good and bad fat in the scale from more to less
significant. And you will see it not so difficult to understand by

yourselves so dont have to be panic keep calm and eat the right fat.
