Captain Boomerang Attacks
This is your idea of hanging out? Batman said.
Hey, how was I supposed to know that he had knockout boomerangs? Flash
complained.
I dont know, maybe because hes your archenemy, Batman said. They were
tied up
on a giant Boomerang. Captain Boomerang and his gang were standing
there.
Youre finished, fools. This boomerang has dozens of bombs inside of it. You
should be honored Flash, for when this bomb kills the Mayor of Central City and the
people surrounding him, youll be the first to die, he smiled.
Youll never get away with this, Captain Boomerang, Flash said, struggling to
get free.
Dont bother. I made it extra strong just for you, he smiled, making some
coordinates.
Batman broke free and landed on the ground. He drew a Batarang and threw it at
Flash. It freed him too.
I knew we should have taken his belt. No matter, kill them, Boomerang ordered.
They ran at them.
Alright Flash, we can take these flunkies, Batman assured. He looked beside
him only to see that the Flash had gone.

I hate it when he does that, Batman groaned. A man threw a punch at him. He
caught it and threw him into the wall. Batman played leapfrog to dodge the second man
rushing in with a knife. He landed behind him and threw a Bat-Lasso. It wrapped around
him and he fell down. Batman punched another man down and twirled around and nailed
another one with a kick to the skull. Another one fired a machine gun at him. Batman ran
towards him and jumped on his hands. He pushed up and drop kicked him through a
crate. Batman extended his staff as two more men ran at him. He ran and pole vaulted
himself in the air. He kicked the one in behind. When the other criminal turned around,
Batman poked him in the stomach hard and finished him with a hit from the edge of his
staff. A man opened the box and grabbed a razor sharp disk. He threw it at Batman.
Batman blocked it with his staff but it cut it clean in half.
Another boomerang trapped Batmans left gauntlet to the wall. Batman struggled
to pull it out.
The man smiled and pulled out another one. He threw it directly at Batmans
head.
Batman threw a Batarang. The Batarang tore through the middle of the
boomerang and hit the man straight it in the face. He landed on the wall and slide down.
Batman took the boomerang out. Suddenly, the blade of the boomerang flew straight into
the wall. It was where Batmans head was two seconds ago.
Wow, that was too close for comfort, Batman remarked. Captain Boomerang
fell to the ground tied up with his own boomerang.
Flash ran circles around Batman and stopped.
Gee B-Man, what took you so long beating up those guys? I can fly by them in
usually five or six seconds, and Im just being modest, Flash smiled.
Maybe because I cant run faster than sound and light, Batman said.
Well, wait to you see the next hot spot I go to, Flash said.

Trapped by Captain Cold

Batman was punched again. Batman and Flash were standing back to back against
a whole bunch of goons. They were in a huge freezer.
You call this a hot spot? Batman said, dodging a punch.
Look, Captain Cold just robbed the Central City Mint. Hes got over two million
bucks. So yeah, I had to blow off my date with Mary Lou. I did say I was sorry, Flash
apologized, punching another guy.
Batman punched another one down.
Put them on ice permanently boys, Captain Cold smiled, running out the
door.

You boys should be ashamed. Your boss just left you locked in here to freeze like
popsicles, Batman taunted, kneeing one down. Flash ran and knocked down at least ten
men in a row. A big man ran at Flash with a huge rod.
Let me give you a hand with that, big man, Batman said, grabbing the end of it.
He spun it in the opposite direction. The man flew and hit the wall. A man chocked
Batman from behind with a frozen gun.
Whats wrong? Did Captain Coward forget to buy ammo? Batman said. He ran
into a wall and kicked his feet into the wall. He pushed back and slammed the man into
the opposite wall. The mans hold loosened up and Batman threw the man into the frozen
wall. Batman jumped up and kicked two men at the same time. Another one tried to
punch Batman. Batman swept him off his feet and punched him. A man armed with a
freeze gun fired at Batman. Batman ran for cover but one of the blasts froze both his feet
together. The man walked up to Batman slowly aiming it at him.
Time to make a Bat-Sicle, he smiled. Batman rolled over as he fired and got up.
Stand still, you idiot, he snarled.
Sorry, but I dont want to stay frozen here in the same facial expression. Ive got
people to punch and worlds to save, Batman said, getting up and jumping. He grabbed a
pipe and swung his feet forward with all of his feet. The block of ice hit the man dead in
the face and knocked him out. The impact of Batman landing broke the ice.
Nice move, Flash said, standing right beside him.
All of the goons were lying down on the floor groaning and moaning. Batman
tried to open the door but it was locked.
Were locked in, Batman said grimly.
Arent you the most optimistic man on the planet? Dont worry, Ill break it,
Flash assured, trying to open it. He ended up breaking the handle off.
Now, were locked in, Flash said.
Batman placed a small explosive bat device on the lock of the door. It blew a hole
in the door. He kicked the door open.
Lets move before Cold gets away, Batman instructed.
Yeah, we dont want him to get cold feet. Get it? Flash joked.
Batman stared at him plainly.
They ran through the frozen tunnel only to see Captain Cold.
Its over, Captain Cold. Your icy reign of terror is over, Flash said gallantly.
Why cant my men do anything right? If you want something done, you gotta do
it yourself, he sighed, firing his freeze guns into the ceiling. A lot of icicles fell on them.
Cold ran out the exit.
Got any ideas? Batman said.
Ive got a few, Flash smiled, running around Batman. He soon became a red
blur.
Flash, I dont think this is any time to play hide and seek, Batman said. Flash
actually created a giant whirlwind. It stopped the objects and sent them flying through the
wall.
You were saying? Flash smiled. They ran through the door to see Captain Cold
standing towards a car full of cash. Flash ran at Captain Cold. Cold fired his twin freeze
guns to create an icy path. Flash was going so fast that he slipped and tripped. Because of
his speed, he kept tumbling until he hit a car.

Your turn, Batman, Cold smiled, firing. Batman front flipped away and ran as
the icy blasts narrowly dodged him. Cold fired above Batman. A giant frozen flagpole fell
on him. Batman jumped up off of pure reflex. The pole caught his left and pinned him
down.
He struggled to free himself. Cold pointed a gun at him. Suddenly, the Flash ran
past him so fast he twirled around. Flash leaned against a building.
Cmon Cold, you can do better than that, Flash taunted.
You dare taunt me, fool. Ill make an ice cube out of you, he spat angrily. Cold
fired. Flash dodged and ran forward.
Get a clue Cold, you couldnt shoot me even I was Frosty the Snowman, Flash
smiled.
Cold got angrier and fired again. Flash dodged and sat on a bench.
Tired yet, Sunny Jim, Flash said, pretending to yawn. He fired again. The bench
was frozen.
Hold still so I can blast you into dust, he yelled.
Chill out, Cold, dont blow a casket. Im hardly breaking the sound barrier so
Im giving you a fair chance, Flash smiled. Meanwhile, Batman freed himself.
Cold fired again. Flash dodged yet again.
Grandma Flash has better aim than you. And shes blind, Flash joked. Batman
tapped on the villains shoulder. When he turned around, Batman punched him straight in
the cheek bone. He fell down. Batman bent down and handcuffed him.
The cops will be here to pick up these clowns. They wouldnt know cold if it
locked them up in a freezer, Batman sighed.
Well B-Man, the next stop we make is gonna make all these other stops look like
play dates, Flash beamed.

The Wrath of the Ultra-Humanite

The wall to the Central City S.T.A.R labs dissolved. The Ultra-Humanite ran out
with Solomon Grundy carrying a box load of experimental weapons.
Hurry Grundy, we must hurry before the police arrive, the Humanite urged.
Grundy moving as fast as he can, Grundy complained.
It was too late for the cops had already arrived. Twenty police officers had guns
pointing straight at them.
Put your hands up and drop the bag or we will be forced to shoot you, the lead
officer yelled.
If you say so. Grundy, the Humanite smiled.
Solomon raised his hands and slammed them on the ground. A huge shockwave
rippled through the ground and threw the officers high in the air. They fell down with a
loud thud.

Let us depart, Humanite said, as they ran through the park only to see Batman
and Flash blocking their way.
Drop the bag, gorilla, Batman smiled.
You both are worthy adversaries, but I havent the time to linger around here.
Grundy, these are your sworn enemies. Attack, Humanite commanded.
Grundy destroy Bat and Flash for big brain, he snarled, running at them.
They dodged out of the way as he went through. Flash hit him several times using
his super sonic speed, but Grundy only smiled and punched Flash. He grabbed him and
lifted him up. He slammed Flash face down into the ground. Grundy then prepared to
finish him when a rope snared itself around the powerhouses left hand. Batman was
trying to pull Grundy away. Grundy grabbed the rope and twirled it around.
Ah nuts, Batman murmured as he was flew into a statue of the Flash. He fell
down.
Flash, you do have a massive ego. Lets see if it crushes your friend here,
Humanite smiled, pulling out a gun and firing it into the statue. The statue seemed to lose
its foundation and fell on Batman who was oblivious to it.
NO! Flash said, getting up. He tackled Batman out of the way as the statue fell
down.
Thanks for the save, Batman said.
Dont mention it, Flash smiled.
Ill take the oversized gorilla. You handle the undead gangster, Batman said. He
extended his wings and flew towards the Ultra Humanite. The gorilla saw Batman and
pulled out his staff. He aimed it at Batman and pressed a button. Batman maneuvered out
of the way as a blast narrowly missed him. The second one struck him down. He cried out
as he was electrocuted. He landed on the ground.
That blast shouldve killed you but your suit took the full impact. The second
direct hit will kill you, he smiled, aiming it at Batman. Batman threw a Batarang. It
disarmed him. Batman got up and jumped. He kicked the gorilla in the face. Ultra
Humanite grabbed him. Batman kicked him in the chest, making him release the Dark
Knight.
Suddenly, The Flash was thrown into the hero.
Ah this is where the old saying comes in. Two birds with one stone, Humanite
smiled, taking out a portable missile launcher. Flash was the first one to recover and ran
around Batman, creating a red whirlwind. When he stopped, Batman and Flash were up.
Humanite fired a missile. Batman back flipped away. Flash ran in circles as Humanite
fired his missiles. Batman threw a special Batarang into the barrel. Humanite threw it
away as it exploded.
Grundy, stop standing there and destroy them, Humanite said, now that his
weapon was gone.
Grundy ran at Batman and Flash.
You slow him while I trip him from behind, Batman said.
Batman slid between his two legs. Flash then did what he did best and punched
Grundy several times. Solomon threw a weak punch but Flash simply dodged it.
Too slow, Grundy, Flash said, jumping up and delivering a hard uppercut. He
staggered back. Suddenly, he was electrocuted. His hair even stood up.

Ouch, he said, before he fell down unconscious. Batman stood there pretending
to blow smoke off of his tazer. He put it back in his utility belt in a very western manner.
Looks like the brains of the operation are trying to cut out on all of the fun,
Flash observed. The Ultra Humanite ran away holding a gun.
Right back, Flash smiled, running. He stopped in front of the gorilla.
Sorry dude, jails that way, Flash said, pointing the opposite direction.
I dont think so, Flash. This gun has the power of eliminating certain genes from
the human body. When I blast you with this, youll have no more super speed, allowing
me to finish you, he smiled, aiming it at him.
Take your best shot monkey boy, Flash taunted.
Infuriated by Flashs jokes, he turned it up to full intensity.
This blast will eliminate every cell in your body until youre nothing but skin
and bones. Goodbye Flash, he smiled, pressing the trigger. It short circuited and fired
backward.
NOOOOOOOO! Ultra Humanite screamed as he was engulfed by the blinding
light. He fell down, smoke trailing from his oversized brain.
Batman walked up to Flash.
How did it backfire on the gorilla? Batman asked.
Simple, as I ran past him, I changed some wires and pressed some random
buttons. I guess that made the gun overload and fire out. Unfortunately, the big lovable
ape was in that range, so his brain probably got fried. Im not as stupid as I look, you
know, Flash explained.
Two minutes later, Grundy marched inside an armored truck with titanium
handcuffs. Humanite was strapped into a stretcher.
Flash was posing for photographs while Batman stood beside them. Flash signed
autographs.
Excuse me, said a voice beside Batman. He looked behind him to see a little
kid.
Can I have your autograph, Mr. Batman? I know folks say that your bad but I
dont. You saved my family from a burning house and I forgot to thank you, he said
innocently.
Batman then felt a moment of happiness. He signed the kids notebook, having
reassured confidence in being a hero.
Thanks, but I was wondering if I could.you know? the boy said.
Batman caught the hint and handed him a Batarang.
Just dont poke someones eye out, alright? Batman sighed.
Yes sir, Mr. Batman. Thank you, Mr. Batman, he said, running away to talk to
his mom.
See Bats, youve got fans. Before you know it, youll have your own Batman
Fan Club, Flash smiled.
Sorry but, I dont need booking agents, screaming girls who want to kiss me
every time I save someone, or annoying number one fans. See you later, Flash. Gotham
sadly cant protect itself, Batman said, pressing a button on his belt.
Cmon B-Man, stay for a couple of more minutes, Flash said. A little girl then
asked for his autograph. Batmans motorcycle pulled up. Batman got on and sighed. He
then rode off.

When Flash was done signing autographs, he looked to see Batman already gone.
Alright Bats, see you tomorrow, Flash said.
