Nature of the lord- the spark of existence that is present in all of us as our very life
Self is in us, if our mind and intellect are awake and alert, life can be a pleasant
ride.if the individual has unhealtly ideas, dangerous temperamentas, wrong traits,
foul motives, despicable attitudes- these maladjustments in the individuals

How the mind conditioning contributes to the personality development

What is personality?
Personality is generally defined as the set of qualities or way of behaving that
makes a person different from another. We interact with many people on a daily
basis. Interaction with some people makes a deep impression in. While some
interactions do not make any impression in us. What
One can grow and strengthen his personality
Education is for personality development. Most of the cases we are trying to polish
ourselves externally
Should be strong from within
Each one is unique
We interact with different people daily. Interaction with some people makes a deep
impression in us. Why it is so? What makes this impression? It is the PERSONALITY.
Personality is defined as the set of qualities or way of behaving that makes a person
different from another. How a person behaves largely depends on his/her character.
How to mould ones character and become a developed personality? Our
Balapragyas are exploring more on this
We had a discussion on one of the personality traits from Astanga YogaTRUTHFULNESS - means being honest. Being honest to oneself and to others. What
is honesty was discussed by taking Raja Harischandras story. The power of
truthfulness was analyzed by thinking how Gandhiji became Mahatma and the
Father of the Nation by holding on to TRUTHFULNESS.
Being honest to oneself means never degrade yourself by underestimating your
own abilities.
Being honest to others means never hurt others by
thoughts/words/deeds. So our Balapragyas learned that a Truthful person will be
more confident, will be respected, will become the source of inspiration for others
and will be loved by all.

GOD is not in strength but in truth

The moral character of a person improves if he remains truthful.

1. Truthful people have high self-esteem and are more confident than a liar
person.

2. A Truthful person is gets respect, regards and love by other people

everywhere.
3. Truthfulness makes a people more humble and responsible towards the
society.
4. Truthful person wins the hearts of any person by his quality of
truthfulness.
5. A truthful person can becomes the source of inspiration for others. They
become true guide and Guru for their students.
6. Truthfulness is a kind of personal traits which cant be measured by the
money and it also cant be bought by money.
It is really so difficult to tell the truth every time. A truthful person doesnt
only tells the truth but also he also carries truthfulness in his actions, words,
nature, etc.
In Ramayan, Shri Ramchandra was known as a truthful king. He not only
gave respect to his father but also obeyed all the orders of his parents. When
his father instructed him to live in the forest for 14 years with his wife Sita, he
didnt resisted and went to forest for 14 years.
In India, Mahatma Gandhi has given a living example of truthfulness. He had
adopted a policy of truthfulness and non-violence while fighting against the
violence by the British rulers. He was never feared of death, as a truthful
person can never be dominated by the fear & anxiety. By his truthfulness,
people of India supported him and won the independence for our country from
the British. The truth of Mahatme Gandhi is immortal. Across the globe came
to know about his works and truthfulness.
Truthful people will:

Understand themselves, and know their own strengths and weaknesses. They will
not delude themselves about their successes or failures;

Present themselves in a way that shows who they really are. Their reputation will
be founded on what they are and, whether in public or private, they will be the same;

Meet any commitments or promises that they make;

Be accurate in their descriptions of themselves or others, so that they do not
mislead others.

Finding the Balance

As with many other qualities, you need to find the balance in
truthfulness: neither overplaying nor underplaying either your virtues or
your weaknesses.
It is as bad to pretend that you are less good at something than you are,
as to exaggerate about your abilities.

It is important to live and act in line with your values.

Being truthful to yourself matters because you cannot live in line with
your values if you are pretending to yourself that you are
something else.
Truthfulness allows you to be honest about yourself to yourself, and to
others, and to live a life which reflects that.
