INTRODUCTION

We now specialise in ball valves manufactured in exotic

material and for corrosive and extreme environments. We take
satisfaction from being remembered for the quality of our
product, and the service we provide in delivering it.

Brooksbank Valves began manufacturing valves in 1951. The

Company was formed as offshoot from the Brooksbank family
manufacturing companies which began trading in 1875. Since its
conception Brooksbank Valves has been providing cost effective
valve solutions for a wide range of markets worldwide.

The company has a strong commitment to

Research and Development and in developing emerging
technologies.
All our valves are designed in accordance with
international standards and utilise our extensive knowledge
of the properties of high performance materials.
We support our design team with ongoing
commitments to invest in the best CAD technology and
in promoting the use of advanced IT in communicating
with you, the customer.

MANUFACTURE
At Brooksbank Valves we place great emphasis
on high quality manufacturing. We invest heavily in the
most modern CNC machines for in house manufacture.
The ownership of our own manufacturing capacity
allows us to respond quickly to customers needs and to
maintain strong controls on quality. Where subcontract
manufacture is used we operate rigorous continuous
quality audit programs.

INSPECTION
In order to maintain quality at every level of manufacture
and therefore also in the final product, we have a dedicated
inspection team. Their role includes roving inspections across
the machining centres, sampling strategies for bought in
components and calibration of inspection equipment.
We have fully trained dye penetrant personnel and conduct
all forms of NDE either in house or with experienced local experts.
3.1B traceability is standard with all our products and full
traceability is available.

At Brooksbank Valves we design all the products
that we sell. We have a very experienced team of design
engineers who work with our customers in providing tailored
solutions as well as continuously developing and improving
our key product ranges.

It is increasingly important to provide the customer

with the facility for management of total documentation
packages.
At Brooksbank Valves we have personnel who are
experienced in meeting the most demanding documentation
requirements. We also place a huge emphasis on timely
delivery of documentation packages.
All our products are backed up by full 3.1B
certification as standard.

Brooksbank Valves are proud to have held ISO9001
Quality Assurance since 1987. We instil responsibility
for quality at every level of our business. We ensure that
there is awareness of quality improvement targets
throughout the company.

We dedicate a large proportion of our training

budget to quality related training.

BESPOKE MANUFACTURE
Brooksbank Valves manufacture many valves for customers
own unique requirements.
We see ourselves as problem solvers. Our design engineers
can work alongside the engineering department of the customer
and together provide the best solution. No valve related problem
is too small for us to consider.

At Brooksbank Valves we have accumulated many

years of experience in providing valve solutions for difficult
environments.
Our engineering department will share this knowledge
with customers. We are always willing to offer advise
where we can.

TECHNICAL ADVICE

S T O C K S A N D S PA R E S
We back up our valves with a high speed
spares service.
Soft spares kits are generally available off the shelf.
Hard spares kits are available on very short lead times.
We maintain stocks of aluminium bronze and exotic
alloy valves so that we can quickly respond to customers
demands.

Our team are available on 12 hour notice. The repair

facility covers all valves produced by Brooksbank valves.

We have a valve service department which operates in house

to repair and refurbish valves to customers requirements and externally
for site visits where valves require in situ repair.

We regularly supply valves fitted with actuators. We

supply all types of actuators including pneumatic, electric
and hydraulic. We supply packages fully tested and with
complete documentation.

MANAGEMENT

At Brooksbank we use our knowledge of exotic

materials and of world wide valve supply to put together
complete valves packages in materials such as aluminium
bronze, titanium and hastelloy. These valve packages regularly
include ball, gate, globe, check butterfly and control valves.
Our joint venture company Blackhall Brooksbank Ltd
manufactures gate, globe, check and control valves in exotic

Blackhall Brooksbank is a 50/50 joint venture company between Blackhall Engineering Ltd and Brooksbank Valves Ltd.
