Recently, A Wood River Rural School journalism student approached your business to
seek your support in our schools yearbook program by purchasing an advertisement or
by charitably giving a general donation. This letter offers more information about the
yearbook program and the ways you may choose to help our students if you so wish.
The journalism program allows staff members to produce a high-quality yearbook while
learning important skills such as leadership, organization, and meeting deadlines. These
skills will teach students to be productive adults who we will be proud to have as
community members in the future.
Producing the Eagle yearbook, however, does not only benefit staff members. The
yearbook that we produce will be cherished by our students, parents, and faculty for
many years to come, as well as community members, including local real estate offices,
churches, libraries, and medical and dental offices.
The Eagle yearbook cannot exist without the support from local businesses, which we are
hopeful of attaining through a partnership with your business. Any charitable amount that
you feel suitable is welcome, but we do have one low-cost page sponsorship option that
we would like to make available to you that advertises your business, as well as your
good nature.
By purchasing a $40.00 page sponsorship, the name of your business will appear at the
bottom of one of our yearbook pages. It will also be catalogued in the back of the book
with the address and phone number.
Having your company represented in the Wood River Eagle yearbook will help your
business grow and demonstrate your support for the community and public school
system. Please consider supporting our yearbook program through a page sponsorship or
