Represented the Business Unit in Bid & Proposal (B&P) activities supporting Sales and driving top line
growth, including RFQs, RFIs, RFPs and Business Capture. Developed or reviewed statements of
work, cost & schedule estimates, ITAR/FAR/DFAR compliance, opportunity & risk management plans,
specifications, payment schedules, and management/technical volumes. Cobham was recently awarded
a contract by the DMEA for the $7.2B, Advanced Technology Support Program (ATSP4). Post
Aeroflex acquisition, introduced and evangelized the Cobham tailored categorization process to more
efficiently manage the proposal process, resulting in a reduced B&P labor costs, (from $1M/year to
~$500K/year).
Successful track record of recruiting, developing, and managing high performance teams (exempt and
non-exempt). Managed succession plans, training plans, salary administration, and SMART employee
performance plans. Successfully supported multiple advancements into senior management, including a
Director of Operations, Director of a P&L, a corporate level business strategist, and a VP of
Engineering promotion.

As the AFRLs Contract Officers primary contact point and Program Manager, successfully
managed an Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) funded, MIL-PRF-38535, QML-V program,
achieving the program objectives including product performance, cost objectives, and schedule
milestones.
Completed and reported financial analysis of product line 10-year IR&D product portfolio
performance to senior and executive management. Presented specific recommendations for
future product and services investments based on financial performance of historical funding,
including lost opportunities, return on investments (ROIs), and internal rates of return (IRR).
Reduced follow-on annual internal funding by 20% while improving overall financial
performance of the product lines.

Utilized business, program management, and engineering skills to engage with international original design
manufacturers (ODMs) to define and develop consumer products and multi-year product roadmaps into
emerging markets.
Start-up of remote site in Colorado, including electrical, mechanical, optical, and firmware
engineers and software developers.
Managed internal and contract IT support, including installation and configuration of enterprise
servers, redundant storage systems, back-up strategy, and CAD tools/licenses.
