Making Iced Ginger Tea

Making iced ginger tea is very simple and it is an ideal drink for a
hot day.
First, boil some water in saucepan. Then clean a piece of ginger
about one inch length and crush it a little. When the water is boiling, put
in the crushed ginger and let it continue to boil for three minutes. When
there is an aroma of ginger, pour the boiling water into the teapot. Next,
put four tea bags into the teapot.
Close the teapot and allow the tea to steep for five minutes. While
waiting, get four tall glasses ready and fill them with ice-cubes. After five
minutes, remove the tea bags and add about three tablespoons of sugar
and some milk. Then pour the tea into the glasses.

Giraffes are the tallest animals in the world. They can only found in Africa. An adult
giraffe can grow up to six metres in height. As it is tall, a giraffe can only eat tree leaves for
food. Its long neck enables the giraffe to reach for the leaves high up on the trees. Being tall
also has its problems especially when it needs to drink water. The giraffe has to spread its
forelegs wide apart in order to drink water from streams.
Female giraffes can only give birth to one offspring at a time. A young giraffe can
reach a height of three metres in less than a year. The giraffe population is becoming smaller.
Most of its young are killed by lions for food. Adult giraffes use their strong legs to protect
themselves from lions. Giraffes are also hunted by humans for meat and hides. We must start
