The main goal for this study is to develop a conceptual model for a school that would also act as a community
center that would be flexible and be able to adapt to the needs and dynamic changes of the stakeholders

Interested staff, parent and student can participate in brief semi-structured interviews, focusing on aspects of
a sustainable community and idea like what makes a great learning place? Participation is voluntary with
consent from participating staff.
Researcher will conduct field observations that will be conducted within 3-5 days allocation. The study will
focus on the observation of the movement of the people within the area. Researcher is a passive observer.
Photographs of different areas within the school and community may incidentally include people but I will
ensure the people cannot be identified. The researcher will not be interrupting any class schedule as the
surveys and interviews shall be conducted after the class period. Basically one head teacher can fulfill the
role of coordinating the student participation.
