returned to our usual year-round schedule!

Sunday Masses 9 am, 11:30 am, 5 pm, and 8 pm

Daily Masses MWF 12:05 pm & TTh 12:30 pm

Which is easier to pass through a narrow gate or a stone wall? We

may think of a narrow gate as restrictive. In fact, a narrow opening
in an otherwise impervious barrier is wide compared to a wall with
no opening. Jesus desires an intimate relationship without barriers.
What sort of relationship do you want with the Lord?

topics related to vocational discernment.

Part-Time position At St. Austin Parish!

The Administrative Assistant for Discipleship Formation

supports the Director and Associate Director of Discipleship
Formation in the ministry of the parishs Faith Formation
programs. This is a parttime, 10 hour per week (with a few
weeks that may involve up to 15 hours), nonexempt position that
is perfect for someone who is flexible, organized and dependable.
The Administrative Assistant for Discipleship Formation must be
available on Sunday mornings from 8:30 12:30 and one other
day during the week for 6 hours.

Upcoming retreat at Cedarbrake

For more detailed descriptions of the retreats and

events listed below, including prices and updates,
and to register, please visit the Cedarbrake website
at www.austindiocese.org/cedarbrake.

Private Retreat, August 26-28. On this weekend, eight

bedrooms will be available for a self-guided silent retreat. A shared
lounge and kitchenette is available as well as confessions and
adoration on Saturday evening and Mass on Sunday morning.
Participants must bring their own food and spiritual reading.
Cost is $100 for a private room or $160 for a shared room.
UPCOMING RETREAT AT EAGLES WINGS

Spiritual People Everywhere, September 13.

Have you ever wondered what it means to be a
spiritual person? Come and recognize that there
are spiritual people everywhere! You will
explore three components of spirituality, what
it means to live in the image and likeness of God, and take a
spiritual gifts inventory. Open your eyes to everyday spirituality in
the most normal people. Presented by Sherie Zebrowski, Director
of Eagles Wings. 9:30 am - 2:30 pm, $35 per person, light
breakfast and lunch is included. To register, visit ewrc.org.
