QUALITIMPACT is an international, cross-sectoral group of non-formal

learning professionals, rooted and active in youth work. We create
surprising partnerships, exciting expertise combinations, carry out
experiments, refresh and develop new methods, course materials.
Our target group is facilitators of non-formal learning, especially youth
workers, NGO activists, volunteers and professionals capable to have
direct impact on youth at risk and professionals of the business
sector involved in pro-bono activities in the field of youth.

Our aims are to refresh and improve the quality and efficiency of youth
work, to increase the capacity of youth NGOs and to promote and
empower CSR, cross-sectoral cooperation, social innovation and the
sharing of expertise.

We train youth workers professional competences to become able to

work with action- and practice-based skills training methods by
workshops, TCs, seminars, consultations and coaching sessions. We
use methods of experiential learning, outdoor and adventure
pedagogy, contemporary dance, performance, theatre, art, NLP,
constellation. In the past

years our members have carried out over

projects funded by the Erasmus+, Youth in Action, Council of

Europe EYF, Norway and EEAGrants, organised creative meetings and

created projects to share expertise among the business, education
and NGO sectors.

GEAR UP!

GEAR UP offers

quality-assured, highly acknowledged TCs

with worldwide recognized certification besides YouthPass.

The project improves professional skills of coaches, mentors,

counselors and trainers, working directly with young people and youth
NGOs in designing and guiding coaching sessions and processes
through practice. It supports you to adapt and introduce NLP techniques
into the context of youth work specifically useful, if your aim is to:

improve interpersonal, entrepreneurial and participation

competences of young people and youth workers
intervene and utilize group dynamics processes, e.g. on a
TC, a youth exchange or a group EVS project or coaching
a project team
communicate successfully in interpersonal, crosssectoral and cross-cultural contexts, e.g working with
volunteers, in international project teams, representing
your cause for sponsors
build the human resources capacity of your NGO, e.g
motivating your staff, involving people in development
processes, adding a learning dimension to work,
coaching, mentoring
lay the base of an international, cross-sectoral network
to share expertise and support the growth of youth work
all over Europe

We invite youth workers with a minimum of

years regular practice in coaching,

as the courses strongly build on case studies and the techniques make sense only in relation
to practical, personal experience and examples, committed to fully participate in BOTH TCs,
including their preparation and dissemination phases, where the tools, methods and
approaches learned, by integrating them into the ongoing activities of the partners and the
results reported back.
By the end of Phase

each participant creates their own, totally new technique too, which

we will gather and publish online.

Phase 1 NLP Practitioner

Here we give the base: we build coaching skills and core values, learn and practice
techniques and get to the level of guiding a full coaching session:

perceive factwise the clients mental, physical and emotional states

grasp the essence of the clients issue
differentiate between states of the client and of the coach
differentiate between content and context
facilitate the clients desired change of states, behaviours, belief systems and values
essential steps of the coachs preparation and self-reflection
principles of technique and session build-up
Techniques prepare participants to offer simple solutions for relatively simple issues.
Basic theories provide explanations for the techniques and their elements.

Phase 2 NLP Master

It is more advanced and is strongly built on Phase

. While continue building skills and

professional integrity and learning techniques, we move on to guiding complex sessions

combining more techniques in an intuitive and creative way. We deal with:

long-term process build-up and facilitation

guiding sessions combining several techniques
flexibility: real-time recognition of the effect of techniques and elements applied,
willingness and readiness for corrections and change
resourcefulness: owning tools, techniques, values and skills to fulfil his/her job with
professionality, creativity, spontaneity, quality and joy
identity and integrity
Techniques are more complex and support the client to work more deeply and on a wider range
of issues. Theories place the techniques in the context of adaptability and transferrability and
help you create your own ones.

Both TCs start from training simple skills, practicing and combining them step by step to
build complex ones, similarly to sports training. This is accompanied by building identity and
integrity as a professional and placing our activity in a social context.
