Introduction

The training program I will be designing for my workplace organization is a


playspace in each class online at the University of Phoenix. It is creating a training
program that will instruct and train facilitators at the University of Phoenix to learn
to use and create a playspace in their online classrooms with their adult learners.
The outlook for the scope of the training program is going to be for a diverse group
of stakeholders. It is going to assist the adult learners and facilitators in a positive
way with the development of a playspace. The effectiveness of the scope of the
training program for a playspace should cause positive outcomes with the
interaction in the online classes between the facilitator and the adult learners. It
also creates positive outcomes with the interaction between adult learners in the
online environment. Creating an entertaining way to take a break from regular
classroom work and it boosts motivation and happiness throughout the adult
learners.
The intended audience for the training program consists of a diverse number
of employees working at the University of Phoenix. The employees or stakeholders
include the training program director, the manager, the technical training leader,
the technical training experts, the facilitators, and the volunteer instructors. They
welcome cultural difference, diversity, geographical location, needs and skills levels,
and areas of expertise, individual qualities, and personal style. The University of
Phoenix is looking for individuals that are interested in the playspace idea and are
interested in planning an education training program for the playspace. There
should never be adult learners who are singled out because of any reason that
makes them a unique individual.
Program Goals:
1. Employees will create a playspace training program for the University of
Phoenixs website.
2. Employees at the University of Phoenix will train in the new playspace
training program.
Program Objectives with the Goals:
1. Goal 1: Employees will create a playspace training program for the University
of Phoenixs website.
i.
Objective 1: Given the program planning team they will interact and
communicate on how to address the creation of the training of the new
program.
ii.
Objective 2: Given the idea of a playspace the program planning team
will develop ideas on how to make the playspace successful for
training.
2. Goal 2: Employees at the University of Phoenix will train in the new playspace
training program.
i.
Objective 1: Given the specific information with research the
employees will create a rough draft of the training objectives for the
playspace training program.

ii.

Objective 2: Given the freedom to develop training objectives the


employees will be innovative, and create three common and three
unique playspace training program ideas.

The training program will produce a positive impact on adult learning because
a playspace is a healthy atmosphere for a diverse online classroom. The adult
learners will be able to connect and take a break from normal classroom posts
during the training program because that is what the playspace is used for normally.
The employees can organize creative activities to participate in or post about to get
the classroom accustomed to the diversity in an online environment. The
communication and interaction will help the employees and training go smoother
because they can open up, ask questions, and have fun while they are training. The
playspace training program will bring employees excitement and a positive attitude
when they come into work which creates a positive impact on the adult learners.
