Title Wind power turbine for producing electric energy
Abstract An electric generator of a wind power turbine has a stator having a cylindrical shell; a number of
segments arranged, along the inner face of the cylindrical shell, in a circumferential configuration;
and a number of adjustable locking devices located between the segments to press the segments
together circumferentially and lock the segments in a given position.

Title Wind energy generation device
Abstract Wind turbine devices are presented that use counter rotating rotor assemblies in a horizontal axis
wind turbine (HAWT) arrangement. This reduces the torque applied to the HAWT thereby reducing
the structural requirements of a wind energy generation system. Additionally, the counter rotating
rotor assemblies cooperatively rotate an output shaft. In one arrangement, this shaft is a vertical
shaft which allows removing power generation equipment from the axis of rotation of a HAWT to
a position below the wind turbine and/or located on the ground.

Title Turbine with mixers and ejectors
Abstract A Mixer/Ejector Wind/Water Turbine (x201c;MEWTx201d;) system is disclosed which routinely
exceeds the efficiencies of prior wind turbines. Unique ejector concepts are used to fluid-
dynamically improve many operational characteristics of conventional wind/water turbines for
potential power generation improvements of 50% and above. Applicants’ preferred MEWT
embodiment comprises an aerodynamically contoured turbine shroud with an inlet; a ring of stator
vanes; a ring of rotating blades (i.e., an impeller) in line with the stator vanes; and a mixer/ejector
pump to increase the flow volume through the turbine while rapidly mixing the low energy turbine
exit flow with high energy bypass fluid flow. The MEWT can produce three or more time the power
of its un-shrouded counterparts for the same frontal area, and can increase the productivity of
wind farms by a factor of two or more. The same MEWT is safer and quieter providing improved
wind turbine options for populated areas.

Abstract An apparatus for wind power generation with a vertical axis is provided for generating electricity
without any interference from wind blowing in a direction in which electricity is not generated,
such as when wind blows in different directions on every side. The apparatus includes at least
one independent energy transmission vertical joint group having at least two independent energy
transmissions coupled vertically to each other, fixture joint members fixing the independent energy
transmission vertical joint groups in a transverse direction, a first bevel gear coupled to the joint
rotary shaft of the lowermost one of the independent energy transmissions, a second bevel gear
engaged with the first bevel gear, a power relay shaft passing through and fixed to the second
bevel gear, a gear box coupled to one end of the power relay shaft, and a power generator
coupled to the gear box and generating electricity using transmitted rotational force.

Title Aerogenerator having means for maintaining vane unit horizontal
Abstract Disclosed herein is an aerogenerator having a horizontal maintaining means. The aerogenerator
of the present invention includes a support pillar which is placed upright on the ground and has
a hollow space therein. The aerogenerator further includes a rotational support unit which is
provided on the upper end of the support pillar so as to be rotatable. The rotational support
unit includes a rotational body and a rotational support base which supports the lower end of
the rotational body. The opposite ends of the rotational support base extend predetermined
lengths from the rotational body outwards. The aerogenerator further includes vane units which
include a main vane and a subsidiary vane provided on the respective opposite ends of the
rotational support base of the rotational support unit. The main vane and the subsidiary vane have
different weights. The aerogenerator further includes a generating unit which converts the rotating
force of the vane units into electric energy, a rotating force transmission unit which transmits the
rotating force of the vane units to the generating unit, and the horizontal maintaining means which
connects the vane units to the rotational body to maintain central axes of rotating shafts of the
vane units horizontal.

Title yawing system for a wind turbine
Abstract A yawing system for a wind turbine comprising a tower construction and a nacelle. The yawing
system comprises a stationary part being connectable to or forming part of a tower construction
of a wind turbine, and a rotating part being connectable to a nacelle of a wind turbine. The
rotating part is arranged adjacent to the stationary part in such a manner that the rotating part
is allowed to rotate relatively to the stationary part via a gear connection between the stationary
part and the rotating part. The rotating part comprises a plurality of modules, each comprising
a sub-module, the sub-modules being at least substantially identical in size and shape. Each
module is configurable to perform various functions, e.g. by positioning one or more function
defining elements in the corresponding sub-module. Thereby a configured module belongs to a
category of modules reflecting the function of the configured module. At least one of the modules
is configured as a drive module adapted to drive a rotational movement of the rotational part
relatively to the stationary part, via the gear connection. Due to the similarity in size and shape
of the sub-modules, a module belonging to a category may be replaced or reconfigured to belong
to a different category of modules without altering the main design of the rotating part. Thereby a
highly customizable yawing system is obtained, which can be produced in a cost effective manner.
