Proposal under Free EPABX Scheme

to Andhra Cements Limited, Guntur.
With a view to cater the corporate/commercially important customers BSNL introduced
Free EPABX Scheme. This scheme is ideal for corporate customers and the salient features of
the scheme are as follows:
1. No Capital Expenditure for the customers since, BSNL is only providing the EPABX
system.
2. No installation charges and AMC charges, its the responsibility of BSNL to take care of
the EPABX installed. So operating expenditure towards AMC and installation and
maintenance.
3. Addition of Extensions/Ports of EPABX will be done by BSNL without need to procure
extension cards. i.e Scalability of EPABX Ports. As and when the customer demands,
BSNL will arrange for increasing the extensions with the receipt of letter. Only
extension rental is to be paid. For more than 50 <= 100 ports, the each extension rent is
Rs.75/- per month and more than 101 Ports, each extension rent is Rs.50/- per month.
4. Service at your door steps with valuable support. Customer can able to restrict usage
charges based on the profile given to the extension. Calls limit as well as outside dialing
within EPABX/LOCAL/STD/ISD.
BSNLs Scope
1. Provision of complete switching equipment as per your specifications.
- 24 ports pre configured EPABX system
- 8 analog trunks & 6 digital extensions will be provided on Monthly Rental basis.
2. Provision of complete power plant at each site including FCBC, Batteries for 2-4 hours
back up.
3. Provision of complete fully protected System side MDF, Provision of Cable Fault location
software and Cabling Software.
The aforesaid installation shall be done in a manner to augment each extension with
telephone connectivity to provide the following:
1. Intercom Facility for dialing within the EPABX system by a short digit number.
2. Trunk Line Facility for dialing and accessing the outside world with ISDN DID/DOD
facility.
3. Individual extension wise/ department wise bill shall be provided for all services
rendered.

CUSTOMERS SCOPE
1. Provision of adequate Space, separate earthing, free power and air conditioned
environment.
2. Provision of 1 no. PC (Pentium 4) with 2 nos. serial ports for Programming, maintenance
of the EPABX and loading required software. PC to be provided with Table and to be
located close to EPABX.s
3. Provision of internal wiring from the Subscriber Extensions to the MDF at the EPABX
Room. All support required by BSNL to terminate cables from System MDF to Field MDF
to be given by the party who has done the Cabling in your premises and the liaison to
be done by customer. Jumper wire to be supplied and fixed by customers wiring
person. Customer to provide the Field Side MDF beside the System Side MDF, if the
Field side MDF is far away the cabling for Jumpering to be provided by customer.
4. Provision of Telephone Instruments. (Analog and Digital) : Analog instruments could be
purchased from any local vendor or could be purchased from Coral Telecom / through
BSNL. A separate proposal would be provided for items of purchase.
5. Undertaking of availing services within the factory from BSNL for a minimum
commitment period of 3 years.
6. Undertaking to pay to BSNL applicable rental and connectivity charges.
Tariffs
1. Monthly Rental for each Analog and/or Digital extension ports Nil
2. Four analog trunks should be in Monthly Plan 2450 i.e Rs.4*2450=Rs.9800/- p.m with
free calls 12000/-. (In Plan 2450 - Free calls per month - 3000 and per unit call
charges are Rs. 0.8/- instead of normal unit rate Rs.1.20/-) and the remaining two
analog trunks working for you can be in any plan.
3. Operator Console Purchase value = Rs.14, 000/- each + Taxes as applicable.
4. Call Charges for call outside the EPABX: as per applicable tariff as opted by customer.
5. Initial Security Deposit: Rs.10,000/Note:
1. All payments to be made in the form of a Cheque / DD in favour of AO (cash) BSNL, Guntur.
2. Agreement and application to be filled and duly signed by customer.
3. Agreement to be taken on Rs.100/- Stamp Paper. (each sheet of Agreement should be stamped
& Signed )
4. Service Taxes to be paid extra at applicable rates.
