Technology Operator, Class Representative: contribute/communicate ideas/ information
between the officers and general members. Key Club is an international service organization
for high school students, a branch of the Rotary Club.

Volunteered at Dr. Douglas Eatons physiology lab over the summer; learned cell culture,
laboratory protocol, animal studies, patch-clamp technique, and microbiology. Studied how
ENAC epithelial sodium channels in mice are affected by salt in diet; can be applied to study
hypertension in humans.
UGA Young Dawgs Lab Intern, Yin Lab (2016)

Studied nature of brown adipose tissue (BAT) versus white adipose tissue (WAT), and effects
of aging on BAT in mice. Examined both in vivo and in vitro progenitor and differentiated
cells. Performed cell cultures, RNA and protein isolation, tissue samples staining. Can be
applied to potentially create therapeutic treatments for metabolic diseases and/or obesity.
