As of March 31, 2016
2
The Equal Weight Sector Strategy is represented by the nine Select Sector SPDRs ETFs that are
purchased individually, allocated equally, and rebalanced quarterly. As a result, each sector has an
initial weighting of 11.1%. The gross expense ratio for each Select Sector SPDR is 0.14%. There are
no sales loads on Select Sector SPDR shares but ordinary brokerage commissions do apply and this
expense is not reflected in performance calculations. If such expenses were reflected, the performance
shown would be lower. Investors are responsible for rebalancing the portfolio quarterly.
Past performance does not guarantee future results.
* Returns are based on the Net Asset Value of the Select Sector SPDRS for standardized performance
(see back).
** The Financial Services and Real Estate Sector SPDRs were launched in October, 2015 therefore 2016
is the first year with performance data. Their gross expense ratio is 0.15% and after an expense waiver
of 0.01% the net expense ratio is 0.14%. SSGA Funds Management, Inc. has contractually agreed to
waive its advisory fee and reimburse certain expenses until January 31, 2017.
