It's a great pleasure to invite you to join "MFDS Part 1 - Preparatory
Course" that will be held in Dubai - UAE by the Royal College of
Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) from 21 to 24 August 2014.
This course, being the first course outside Edinburgh, brings together
international and local speakers' expertise to MFDS examination held
by RCSEd.

About the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is one of the oldest


surgical corporations in the world. Its story
began in the late 1400s when the roles of
surgeons and barbers, both requiring sharp
instruments to practice their trade, were
indistinctly defined as regards such tasks as
bloodletting, lancing, shaving, bandaging

About MFDS
The Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the
Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is a long established quality
assured assessment.
It enables graduates to demonstrate the acquisition of knowledge,
understanding and clinical competence that will have been obtained
during dental foundation training.
MFDS certificate holders may have more prestigious positions, higher
packages in their career and will be regarded as more prominent
dentists who are recognized by one of the oldest and most prestigious
surgical corporations in the world.

Where can I sit for MFDS?


Part 1 of the MFDS is held twice a year in April and
October at a variety of venues throughout UK,
including: Edinburgh, Birmingham, Corydon and
Manchester.
Part 1 MFDS is also held overseas in Abu Dhabi,
Alexandria, Baghdad, Bahrain, Bangalore, Brunei,
Calcutta, Cairo, Chicago, Colombia, Hyderabad, Karachi,
New Delhi, Qatar, Singapore, Syria and Trinidad.
Part 2 of the MFDS is held twice a year in Edinburgh
and NOW in Dubai..

MFDS - Part 1 - Preparatory course

This four-day course will prepare participants for the MFDS


examination, reviewing key topics in the examination syllabus.
From attending the course participants will gain an appreciation of
the examination format and the depth and breadth of knowledge
required and candidates will know how to study smarter not
harder.
This preparatory course will guide the participants to the easy, smart
and correct way of studying.
By the end of the course a Mock MFDS examination will be conducted to
make our candidates familiar with the examination and to be able to
avoid the common mistakes during the real exam.
Those who are attending this course will have a much higher chance
to pass the MFDS part 1 examination.
Regular meetings will be done for the participants in order to follow up
with them and know if they have any difficulty studying for the exam.
Participants will have a full support from the speakers from the first day
of the preparation course and till they sit for the exam.
