CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT:

Research Methods:
Research methods are those methods which are used to collect data for a particular project or
report making. The Research method contains two types of data: primary data and secondary
data.
a. Primary data:
The data about the topic in this project are collected by the help of a survey Conducted
amongst the 50 students of Valia College (Degree College).
Secondary data:
The data about the topic by us with the help of websites like: Google.com , Wikipedia.com

Data analysis
The data analysis is done by questionnaire method in which questions are asked to the
Students about the stress that they feel and their answers and comments are recorded and on
that basis a bar diagram is created to show the result of analysis.
The Survey was conducted in the Valia College(Degree) amongst 50 students.
The students were divided in 2 age groups:
Age Group 1 = 17-19 years
Age Group 2 = 20 & above years
15 questions were asked in the survey,

The Majority of students Talk to someone (friends and family) to relieve their stress, the
following are the other ways by which students relieve their stress:

1. 48% of the students reduce their stress by talking with someone (friends, family).
2. 16% of students sleep to get rid of stress.
3. 14% of the students play computer games to make mind free from stress.
4. 10% of the students do eating food stuffs.
5. 09% of the students prefer shopping as to get free from stress.
6. 02% of the students prefer drinking (alcohol).

The Majority of students Talk to someone (friends and family) and sleep to relieve their
stress, the following are the other ways by which students relieve their stress:

3) 15% of the students Eat to relieve stress
4) 09% of the students Drink (alcohol) to relieve stress.
